Hi everyone.
I struggled with whether to put this on the Get Fit board or the Weight Loss one. I decided that since I feel I'm pretty fit (at least in my head), I'm more interested in getting to a weight that "the man" says I should be at, so I'm posting it here. 🙂 BTW, "the man" is whoever makes those height/weight charts.
I would like this thread to be a source of motivation and inspiration for anyone who reads it. Perhaps you will see a quote that you identify with, or find a link to an article that you find helpful or useful to you on your journey, or even read a story of someone dealing with the same issues you are - I just want it to be a thread to post postive and/or helpful stuff for other members of the FitBit Community.
I hope you will join in if you have something to share.

I have found it helpful to view episodes of 'My Weight Is Killing Me' and 'My 600lb Life'. Works for me 🙂

So yesterday was moving day for my mom. This was my best Fitbit day so far. When I got home, I was SHOCKED when I looked at my stats as I was just too busy to look during the day.
I wanted to get up and dance for 15 mins or so and get those remaining 1,500 steps to make it my first 30K badge, but I was just too tired. 😞
There was a LOT of up and down the stairs too, but I have a flex so that's not recorded. 😞

Another thing I do which I find encouraging is my 'fat bag'. As I lose weight I place the amount lost in my bag. I am using cans of soup. When I feel a bit discouraged I go and lift my fat bag and tell myself that this is how much weight I am no longer carrying around.
