New and looking for friends and motivation! :)

ANSWERED

Hey! I'm Tracy!
This is my first week using the FitBit One. I'm loving it so far, but I feel like it could be a lot more fun if I was able to communicate with other users, and we could reach out to each other for advice and/or motivation! I would also love to exchange meal ideas. Smiley Happy
I have around 40 pounds to lose and I'm super pumped! I would love the support and to also show support to others. Heart
Here's to making new friends!... Hopefully! Haha!

Hi Tracy,

I've lost 22 pounds since January, without exercise or FitBit assistance. My FitBit arrived yesterday. Now that I've figured out what works for me (diet), I'm ready to take the next step and that's where the FitBit community comes in. I still have 45-50 pounds to lose for a heathier me. If you are still looking for additional people to reach out to, please contact me.

Hi,
I am struggling to lose.  I would love to connect with you.   I kind off fell off the wagon with my dieting and gained back 7lbs but am getting back on it tomorrow.   I have continued to make sure I get in at least 10K steps a day.
It is frustrating for me because before falling off of dieting, i was eating well, exercising at the gym 6 days per week but only maintaining.

Hi everyone! My name is Crystal and I have had my fitbit since Feb. but haven't been consistent with using it. I seriously need to lose around 50 pounds so I'm thinking maybe if I had some fellow fitbit user friends I might be more likely to have more follow through with it? I'm new to these forums and stuff....anyone willing to be my friend?

Hi, at times we all struggle. Don't come down on yourself, just start over
the next day and keep moving.

Thank you for your message. I am still struggling. I work a lot of hours and don't get my exercise in. It is just a excuse and I need to stop making them. I do a little of everything, I love to run, weather permitting.I need to lose about 50 pounds. Send me a friend request,  and we can keep in touch with each other. Kerri

I got my fitbit for Mother's Day, I love it! I have lost 25 pounds so far and need to lose 25 more. I had breast cancer last year and gained at least 30 pounds, but i had no strength to walk. I started out slow and never thought i would ever do a couple of thousand steps, I am now up to an average of 10,000 a day and some days I do 15,000. It can be done and my fitbit gets me off the couch and moving.

That is great!   I can't seem to get the weight off.  I get at least 16,000 steps per day.  I just don't understand it.   I am tracking my food and I don't go over 1,500 calories per day.  I am so happy for you!
