I’ve been monitoring my blood pressure on a daily basis since January last year (I have a Withings BP monitor that automatically syncs via Bluetooth), so I now have 15 months worth of data. During that time, my weight has fluctuated between 59 and 68 kg:
However, my blood pressure has been very stable during the same period:
Given that dropping weight is one of the first advices given by doctors to hypertensive patients, I expected there would be some kind of link between weight and blood pressure. Does this apply only if blood pressure is high and the person is overweight?

I think the answer to your question is yes. Your BP looks already in a healthy range, and your weight wasn't high enough to count as a risk factor.
The video below goes over some of the other risk factors to hypertension. I suspect you don't possess many of those risks either. 🙂

Thanks, @WavyDavey! I guess you (and Dr. Sullivan) are right. I had been wondering how @Klehman1 had been able to bring her BP down to a healthy level in just three months.
