Best AnswerThanks, worked for me too
Best Answerwhen I open the app the days are lit up and it looks like it should be correct but when I click on day 1 it's showing as day 27 of 54? Makes no sense and it won't allow me to edit. It either won't move or won't save. Also, my period notification was always correct and then a few months I started getting double notifications. The first notification would be accurate and then a couple of days later I would receive another notification that my period was predicted to start. I have lived with this but now everything is screwed up. There is no pencil icon and the dragging does nothing. I guess I will stop using the Fitbit app for period tracking. If anyone can recommend a good period app let me know.
Best AnswerI tried this (re-installing the app) and it seems to have fixed the issue for me. Hopefully it continues to work after I have to log my next period. Thanks
For anyone having issues, try deleting and reinstalling the app. I had several overlapping red lines from trying to edit periods that weren't supposed to be there and wouldn't let me delete them because the app didn't think they existed. After deleting and reinstalling, all that mess disappeared and I was able to enter the correct dates and save it for the first time in over 2 weeks. It's worth a try!
Best AnswerIn addition to all the previous issues mentioned, today my app changed the length of my cycle to 75 days ! It will also not save any changes I make to my period dates. It's been months since the app has worked correctly. When is this going to be fixed??
Being affected by it as well. Haven't been able to properly edit or save my period for the last 2 months. Keeps reverting back to predicted period. Also doesn't always save my symptoms or mood...usually have to go in and redo it.
Around the time I made my original comment here, mine also started notifying me every day, sometimes more than once a day, that my period was due to start.
I found a great workaround, though: I've replaced my Fitbit with a Garmin device.
Someone a few weeks back recommended uninstalling the app and then re-installing it. I did this and this seems to have cleared the problem. Now I am able to edit and save my period start and stop dates as well as logging details.
I uninstalled the app from my phone, restarted my phone then re-installed the app. I had to log back into my account (so be sure you have your username and password). Once I signed into my account my Fitbit was actually already linked. Since I did this about 2.5 weeks ago. I was able to correct the info on old periods, and have been able to successfully edit my current period. Hope this is helpful to folks.
