I am having the same issue on my android device. Hope we get a nice fix for the fitbit app some time soon! My other android apps have this feature working with no problem! 🤷:female_sign:

I did this same thing! Started the period early, and now it displays like this :

I have been using Fertility Friend (it's free) for years and it's great. Finally upgraded to the paid version and it's even better.
They don't sync with any other apps b/c they don't sell/share your data.

Is there an ETA on a fix? This is still happening. Thank you!

Totally agree with this. Once upon a time customer service was really good but it's gone down hill and having this continue to be an issue when it's probably a really simple fix just irks the hell out of me. No more money for these guys :{

This hasn't been working for two months plus. How high up your list is this fix? My personal experience of Fitbit app is that problems are commonly introduced and do not get addressed.
I reported issues with the food tracking years ago that still happen. Fitbit's response in the end was to use another food tracker. Honestly it's rubbish don't you think? Do you not have a test team who verifies your releases before you send them out? Do you not have a robust set of regression scripts to make sure you don't break existing functionality? Or do none of your testers have periods? There is no point having functionality on there if it isn't functional.
In short, you need to sort yourselves out Fitbit!

I was just wondering if there were any updates on this issue?

Prior to owning a FitBit I used an app called P tracker. Once I found out that FitBit had this feature I tried it. I HATE it. It NEVER works properly. I am going back to using the P Tracker app. It is very user friendly and I've never had an issue with it. Good luck ladies!

April 18, 2022 I'm still having this issue. I've run the most recent update and it didn't correct the issue.

I've been having the same problem ever since I got my first fitbit about 3 years ago so obviously they can't or don't want to fix it. Trying to edit a period is extremely frustrating. I love that it has a female tracker so you can easily see on your wrist where you are in your cycle but the fact that it doesn't actually work properly makes it pretty much useless! I've had heaps of issues with trying to edit a period where it says the edit is successful but it just reverts back. It's coming up now saying that my period is starting but my period was last week and I can't change it. I've had issues changing start and or end dates. I'm at the point now that I'm just going to get another app to do this as its just simply not with the trouble. Very disappointed in fitbit at the moment. While i realise being able to track menstruation may not seem overly important in a fitness app but it is a great feature that could be soooo much better. Add that to the fact that my fitbit, my husbands fitbit and my mother-in-law's fitbits have all had screen issues recently resulting in all of us needing to replace them, just adds to the frustration!

Any updates now? The Menstrual tab is ridiculous now. Pointless evening having it as its so widely inaccurate. There seems to be so many complaints, why can't fitbit get this right? There are many tracker apps out there why can't they base theirs on a better one or work in conjunction with someone else to get it right??

Are there any updates on this?? It's a heavily relied upon feature and it's incredibly frustrating to not have it work. Thank you.

I've updated my up etc. tried to make my period for this month longer and it won't keep the saved amendment.

Can we have an official update please? We would like to know where you're up to with this problem and when a fix is due. Though I suspect that if your incident management software is as good as your app you probably won't be able to accurately record an incident or manage its timeline and resolution. 🤪

Hi, I have been having this issue for months now. It looks like they tried some sort of fix about 5 weeks ago, because now it wants you to confirm if your period started on the predicted day, but the fix does not work. The predicted day was correct, I tried to confirm this by answering the prompted question but Fitbit did not register my question. Once my period was over I was able to go back and enter my period but it is still asking me every day if my period started today.
I actually removed the period tracker from my phone as it has become so useless. But I re-added it so I could take this screen shot for Fitbit. No answer that I give to the Predicted Period prompt is actually saved.
PLEASE FIX THIS
