I'm not a brand new member to fitbit but I am to this community. I've already lost 30lbs and still have roughly 60 more to go. I love my fitbit flex and it's a constant reminder of my goal.

I am looking to find a few friends to help with some motivation and I will gladly return the favor.

I love my FitBit Zip.  I enjoy seeing the # of steps and using the website I like being able to see the calories in vs burned.  My problem is a broken kneecap has me sidelined. 😞  I am reading all of the posts and I am so jealous and can't wait until I can get to walk again.

Hi, just bought my Fitbit a week ago. Trying to figure it all out.  So far so good. Loving it.  I'm 48 and have about 40lbs to lose.  So hard to lose after the big 40. UGH!  Looking for friends and motivation.  🙂

Well done to you for starting to use your Fitbit.  It is motivating to see how much you do each day so 'keep on moving' and watch your progress.  I love mine but I don't need it to keep me motivated as I have been very active all my life.  It's just another dimension and keeps the interest going.  Happy days everyone.

I am new today.  I have been using fitbit for about a month.  I was sidelined by a sprained ankle but I'm better and want to use it in earnest now.  I really like it so far!!!!!

I am a flyers fan...and a fitbit fan too!  A sprained ankle put me out of commission for a few weeks too but I am back on track.  You will be too!

I am new to FitBit.Smiley Happy  Setup my FitBit One last night.  It didn't come with a user's manual, so when I wore it last night, it wasn't in sleep mode but I could tell I had 4 hours of good sleep (no movement).

I am new as of yesterday evening! Spent my first night with my fitbit one and it was the best wake up call I've had in a long time.

My daughter just bought me my FitBit Flex for my birthday - 45 years old today 😄 I've got a good 60 lbs to lose. I'm hoping the fit bit will encourage me to keep moving, and help me keep my caloric intake in line with the activities of the day. She is getting one for herself next week - so it should get interesting. We joke about how the conversations will go once we both have them. It might take me a bit to figure out how to properly use it, and get into the habit of logging things into the dashboard to get the full picture. I think it's going to be a wonderful motivator though!

Hi ThatAuntie, welcome to the fitbit community. If you would like to join a motivating group go to "monthly challenge group-8/1/14" (we are working on sept but can join anytime). You set your goals for the month and we encourage each other to reach them. There are people from around the world in the group so come join us. (if you have trouble logging your food on fitbit there is another site (free) that will connect with fitbit called myfitnesspal and it has a much larger food database.

I find the Fitbit Community "socialization" very challenging to connect to/with. I'd like to take part in the monthly challenges, too---but, could someone tell me how to "get there"...I've even paid for Premium on Fitbit, and it's not user friendly....can't figure a lot of stuff out!! Sorry to complain, I LOVE my Fitbit device and Aria scales...I just wish getting around in the community/blogs was a little easier. thanks!!

I bought my FitBit Flex today so trying to read up on it. Tomorrow will be the true test and reality of how few steps I actually do in a day! I have around two and a half stone to lose. I will be 50 in Feb and don't want to be fat and 50!!
