Welcome to the Fitbit family!

Whether you've just got your Fitbit or have been with us for years, share a little about yourself with the wider Fitbit fam. You might find someone with the same interests or even the same health goals as you. You can say hi any way you like but if you're stuck, kick it off with:

  1. Where in the world are you?
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal?
  3. How do you like to stay fit?
  4. What motivates you?
  5. Favorite guilty pleasure

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

I have been using Fitbit One for 4 to 5 years now, maybe more. I recently got a Fitbit Inspire then a Fitbit Versa 2. I really don't know why I would get another Fitbit. I don't like or use either the Fitbit Inspire or the Fitbit Versa 2. I went back to using the Fitbit One. I still have problems with the continual syncing, but it's still better than either of the other two.

Hello!

I've been a Fitbit user for a few years now, but this is my first venture into the forums.

  1. I am currently on the West Coast, Puget Sound area
  2. I've let myself slack off, current goals are to lose 15 lbs and re-establish a fitness routine.
  3. I like ridiculously long walks and body weight exercises.
  4. Motivation is difficult to pin down, but those numbers on my wrist certainly help.
  5. I'm having pasta for dinner tonight and nobody can stop me!

here's where I am...

currently, i'm upset and pissed off b/c NOBODY from Fitbit support can cancel a pre-order...

chat support told me to contact support via telephone, yet they ALSO told me they have NO WAY

to cancel my order!!!

Fitbit can track steps, floors, heart rate, water consumption, sleep activity, training, etc... YET THEY CANNOT CANCEL A PRE ORDER THAT DONT SHIP FOR ANOTHER 7 DAYS!!  ugh!! wow!!

it's 2020!!   I am able to cancel almost ANY order before it ships, ALMOST FROM ANYWHERE!!

So, I was told that I have to wait till the watch ships, then I MUST REFUSE it, and then hope it gets back to the sender, and request a refund!  wow!  talk about archaic!!

   What's wrong with this picture??

Have had a Fitbit for just over a year and I LOATHE it:-

  • Fitbit app will never connect to wifi... even though the mobile phone in use is connected to this same wifi
  • The device strap continually snaps after a matter of months
  • The device has consistent trouble in syncing with the Fitbit app

I am out of warranty. I am stuck with this expensive waste of money.

If you have the opportunity - get a refund and try another product.

Hello,

I am just outside Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

My goal is basically to maintain a good level of health and fitness. Loss of weight would be nice.

Before the cover-19 I exercised 4 times a week in classes at the local rec centre. That is now closed and I find it difficult to exercise without the motivation of a class. So, we go for walks.

Guilty pleasure..chocolate.

The last couple of weeks I have had two friend  requests. When I look at their profiles it seems that it is a front for some kind of activity that might be detrimental to a 74 year old man. 😉

@BigglesDaveCWelcome! Walking i still good as long as your moving thats what counts!

As for friends I block a lot of them myself. No Steps is a good sign.
