Welcome to the Fitbit family!

Whether you've just got your Fitbit or have been with us for years, share a little about yourself with the wider Fitbit fam. You might find someone with the same interests or even the same health goals as you. You can say hi any way you like but if you're stuck, kick it off with:

  1. Where in the world are you?
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal?
  3. How do you like to stay fit?
  4. What motivates you?
  5. Favorite guilty pleasure

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

I live in Tallahassee (FL). I've had a Charge 2 for a couple of years, but recently got the Charge 4 for the most part because of the built in GPS. The waterproof feature was a secondary but useful selling point also. Weather permitting (October-June morning rides with temps starting out between 50 and 70 and warming from there up to 85 or so). I try to ride my bike 3 times a week (Trek Verve 2). I go to the gym the other 2 days a week (when its open- argh). From mid-June to mid-October I'm in the gym 4-5 days a week (hopefully they will be open soon). Find it very difficult mentally to workout at home. It's just a mental thing with me, but also physical space is somewhat an issue. My fitness goals are pretty much centered around my Fitbit. My baseline is a minimum of 600 minutes per week with 95%+ being cardio and peak. My best workouts are roughly 50% of each of those although truthfully I seldom get there. I'm pretty happy if I can get a 70-30 split. Honestly - What motivates me is a combination of the CDC guidelines and my Fitbit. I'm a pretty much self-motivated person so I get mildly grumpy when I cannot keep to my workout schedule.

Welcome!

@freedom65  Walking is a great exercise. I love to walk myself. Go out daily rain or shine.

@robot2655  I think working out at home must be a mental thing as I love working out at home. I miss some of the Machines at the gym. But not enough to go back. 😂 I also get grumpy when I cant work out. Hubby knows when to stay away 🤣

I love nice, summary days and a tropical vacation. I live in Palatine, IL with my sister, mom, and dad. My fitness goal is to lose weight to 55.0 pounds! I like nice people, while mean go down to my enemy list. I like my Inspire HR Fitbit, because it helps track my steps. I usually go for a goal of 5,180 steps a day. I am a real risk-taker!
