Welcome to the Fitbit family!
Whether you've just got your Fitbit or have been with us for years, share a little about yourself with the wider Fitbit fam. You might find someone with the same interests or even the same health goals as you. You can say hi any way you like but if you're stuck, kick it off with:
Looking forward to getting to know you all.

There is a strap that allows you to wear the Fitbit on your ankle. I ordered one for when I'm on the treadmill because when you're hands are stationary on the hand bar, it doesn't record your steps. Also, it still records your heart rate and sleep modes when worn there. That would stop you from catching it on stuff working on your farm. Sorry to hear about your cancer. I lost my Dad, my sister, my wife and many friends to cancer. Such a horrible disease.

I am currently in Brisbane Australia but normally live in New Zealand.
I want to lose weight and become stronger.
I have just been given my first FITBIT and have been using it for a week now. My best day so far was 45000 steps. I have been doing between 25000 and 30000 other days. I have a lot of free time, so able to walk for hours in this beautiful city!
My secret indulgence would probably be ice cream!

Thank you for this opportunity to join the community. I've owned a Fitbit since 2014 or so and I am looking forward to getting to know you all. In addition, I am currently working on my Masters degree in User Experience and I would love to hear about other people's Fitbit experience and the growing advantages of mobile health technology.
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but would it be possible to ask for people's participation in a screener survey. If this needs to be posted somewhere else PLEASE let me know what the best course of action is. I am a huge Fitbit fan and want to learn even more about all things Fitbit. Thank you.
This 5-minute screener survey is for a graduate-level research project on the usability of the Fitbit app for two user types: a Fitbit user/member and a health professional (for example: primary care provider, physical therapist, nutritionist or personal trainer/fitness coach, etc.) In regards to the health professional, we are interested in the viewpoint of health professionals using Fitbit technology for their clients’ treatment programs. (No PHI is required).
Please follow the below links and thank you for your participation.

Hi,
I'm a fairly new fitbit user (approx 6 months) I have problems syncing my charge 3 when my phone is connected to my car. I've been told this its because of a second blue tooth connection. To sync my fit bit I now have to take it off and plug it in. I'm very disappointed with the product.

Hi Wendy,
I need help with my account. I am hoping you can help or direct me to some one who can??
When I got my new fitbit in May I had to use my work email account to get set up. I would like to get my new fitbit on my person email (which has my other 2 devices on it that I don't use)but I can't figure out how to do it.
Much thanks,
ann

Hi! I'm Jen. I'm 25 years old and currently in school learning about plants!
1. I live in Newfoundland, Canada
2. My biggest goal is to love myself! I want to be strong and healthy, so I'm putting a lot of focus on exercise and eating better foods that will make me feel good.
3. I love walking and hiking, yoga, and dance parties with my friends! I like to stay fit by having fun.
4. I am motivated by friends with similar goals (feel free to add me!!) and journaling/checking in with my goals. I also like to say affirmations and remind myself that this journey is meant to feel good and it's okay to take a night off to have fun!
5. I don't believe in guilty pleasures! I think everything can be enjoyed in moderation without guilt 🙂
