Hey everyone! I've been around Fitbit since the beginning. I was one of the first in my community to purchase. I'm pretty private though and have been solo in my adventures. I enjoy watching everyone work hard at getting fit and encourage everyone that I can to join in. It's not how much you have to do it's really how little you have to start to make a big difference. I encourage everyone to take measurements and pictures in the beginning and not fret over your weight. 

  1. Where in the world are you? Abilene, Tx
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal? Just to maintain and tone
  3. How do you like to stay fit? I love to walk, jog and Ride a bike. Currently I have purchased a Stealth board and have enjoyed core exercising! 
  4. What motivates you? Doing the best I can at eating healthy, exercising and letting my body get as fit as I'm able. I love the feeling of being fit. 
  5. Favorite guilty pleasure? Probably Alcohol. I enjoy a glass of wine or rum in the evening.

A: I am located in Brooklyn, New York

Q: What is your current health/fitness goal?

A: My current goal is to lose the 60 pounds I gained subsequent to my surgery.

Q: How do you like to stay fit?

A: I Like, and tend to lose pounds by regularly powerwalking

Q: What motivates you?

A: Feeling alive again and being able to run up a flight of stairs inspires me to get physically fit.

Q: Favorite guilty pleasure

A: What I am about to share is really a “guilty” pleasure. I just love Rum & Raisin ice cream and Caribbean Black cake. I am working on moderation. Pray for me. LOL!

NB:

If you are near the Prospect Park Area in Brooklyn and would like to join us on our powerwalking sessions, please feel free to do so.

When: Saturdays & Sundays

6:30am - We meet at the Grand Army Plaza Park entrance (opposite the Library)

6:40am - We begin walking

Important: Please wear a mask. We will be walking 6ft apart.

The stealth board is hard but it’s a blast! I recommend the orange board. It’s a little larger plus it’s American made!

Hi, I am hopeful to be here 🙂

 

1. I am residing in Espoo, Finland

2. My fitness goal is to lose weight and be at 72 Kg which is ideal for my height. Also to gain more muscle and be vibrant and energetic.

3. By being active, exercising regularly at gym, eating and sleeping properly.

4. Success/positive results motivate me.

5. Skipping night's sleep over a TV show or work!

    Ik woon in Nederland  in een buitenwijk van Rotterdam met mijn man 
  2. Wat is uw huidige gezondheids- / fitnessdoel?
    Zoals ik bij mijn Profiel al heb staan ..ik heb COPD en bij de gunstigste meting 48% longfunctie (het is ook al 39 %geweest ) 
    Bewegen is dus voor mij net zo belangrijk als eten en slapen , het houd me nog een beetje op gang .
    Sinds de Corona is het nog lastiger omdat ik vanwege de risico's niet naar werk mag en een tijd lang niet naar de sportschool kon , ik hoop dat als ik weer meting krijg dat de schade beperkt is gebleven ...maar het is zo al beter dan corona krijgen natuurlijk 
  3. Hoe wil je fit blijven?
    Ik probeer elke dag 8000 stappen te doen , ga 3 maal per week sporten en houd mijn voeding in  de gaten met myfitnesspal app
  4. Wat motiveert je?
    Ik wil graag zo lang mogelijk functioneel  blijven (liefst ook zonder zuurstof )
  5. Favoriete schuldig genoegen
    Soms heb ik gewoon een (vr)eetbui en is alles goed waar ik op kan kauwen   😎

Hi people,
I got my first Fitbit (Charge 4) in April and so far I am absolutely loving it. But I still need to figure out how to get active here and connect with people. I guess posting here is a start, but I would be grateful for any tips on how to best connect with others 🙂

 

Where in the world are you?:
I live in Berlin, Germany. But I will move to Barcelona, Spain in October and I am very excited about it.

 

What is your current health/fitness goal?:
I want to get down to 70kg(height 186cm) and then build muscle mass up to 75 Kg.
Also I want to run a 100 mile race below 16 hours looking long term, for my first run, below 24 hours is a success.(yes I know,  just finishing would be a success as well)

 

How do you like to stay fit?:
Running in barefoot shoes, Hiking, all kinds of sports that include a ball and bodyweight workouts.

What motivates you?:
The elevated mood, enhanced processing power and drive that results from being active a lot. After some time,long runs started to feel almost like meditations to me.

 

Favorite guilty pleasure:
There is no guilt in pleasure 😋😇
