Hi everyone,

 

I'm a  year-round commuter cyclist in Edmonton, Alberta. My goal is to stay fit after 50, motivated by being in better shape than half the 30-somethings I know. My constant guilty pleasure is chocolate, so I have to maintain a decent daily calorie burn!

Hi, 

 

My name is Lauren, I go by LC. I live in MS, and as far as my health goals go...I want to tone up first of all, working on losing weight and as i've been working on it I feel so much better, not only physically but mentally also. I have also been working on eating better, more fruits, veggies, all that good stuff. 

 

I have joined a gym, and my friend and I go almost on the daily now. I love having her go with me, we help to keep each other motivated. I know myself, and I know I wouldn't go if I didn't have a partner in crime. Lol. 

My motivation......hmmmmm......honestly just wanting to feel better! Not gonna lie....the looking better part also doesn't sound so bad either. 

Favorite guilty pleasure......DONUTS! OMG, I love them!

Hi All!

 I live in Taylors, SC originally from Long Island, NY! 

My current fitness goal is to lose weight and be able to walk without my lower back aching. My long term weight loss goal is 125 lbs but my first goal is to lose 20 lbs by January 15.

I enjoy walking and weight machines. I am not a super competitive person but I am trying.

The best motivation for me is understanding how food works in my body, the psychology behind what makes me do or not do something and gentle but direct encouragement.

My guilty pleasure is frozen pizza and tortilla chips with queso!

Hi I live in Birmingham in the UK Midlands and am trying to lose weight as my job involves sitting for ages on end. I was superfit in my youth, work then frequently involved throwing and catching large 40 sacks, carrying 90 Kg weights, once had to pull 2 1/2 ton on a pallet truck, but too much sitting has put on the pounds and I need to shift it. A knee injury restricts what I can do and walking is my main source of exercise. when I can. As a student I worked in various departments of Cadburys - my dad helped design and got into production the Curly Wurly machine into operation - so I developed a weakness for chocolate which doesn't help losing the weight.  Having trouble with my Versa 2 the screen goes streaky then blank. Getting help and advice is not easy, so any tips would be appreciated,

Hi there

The trick is to forget about loosing weight, eat one meal and walk 10 miles
a day.....this is Evey day....also you need to feel your stomach singing....

As for help on your device its better to pst in that forum then on a thread where people are introducing themselves

But you try try a restart and see if it works

  1. Where in the world are you? New Zealand 
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal? To get back into my really cool clothes from before I had my 2 children & to be able to keep up with their active little lives.
  3. How do you like to stay fit? I use my everyday life to stay fit, playing with my children, farm work, housework, work work, exploring the great outdoors, and more recently coaching my daughters under 7 Rugby Team 🏉.
  4. What motivates you? Being active and healthy to set a good example for my children. Also they are pretty sporty and active as they get bigger I need and want to be able to keep up with them.
  5. Favorite guilty pleasure A big snowgurt (blend of snow freeze and frozen yogurt) ice cream 🍦 after coming down from a walk up Mount Maunganui.
