@SunsetRunner It's great to see your participation in the forums! Wow, congratulations on your weight loss! Great job!! Calisthenics is a great type of ejerciese, it not only builds great functional strength, making everyday tasks easier, but it increases your resting metabolic rate, as well as enhance and develop muscular and aerobic endurance. About your weight goals, I'm sure you will find excellent tips on the Healthy Eating Forums.🤗

Hi FitBit community!

I'm excited to connect with more people on here and make the most of the fitbit experience.  A little about me:

  1. Where in the world are you?  Portsmouth, NH USA!
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal?  I recently underwent major spine surgery, so much current goal is to get fully recovered and then back into shape!
  3. How do you like to stay fit?  Rugby, CrossFit/weightlifting, running, hiking, kayaking, sports of all kinds.
  4. What motivates you?  I feel most myself when I'm fit and feeling good!  I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing of things after fully recovering from surgery.
  5. Favorite guilty pleasure?  I'm a sucker for cake.  I love it.  Always have, always will.  Any excuse to celebrate with cake is alright in my books!

Hi there! Well my fave ice cream is also pistachio ,pistachio almond to be exact.And i luv NYC and upper NY state.I am in Ottawa.Congrats on your weight loss. I have 50 to lose...i have lost in the past and maintenance is def a huge goal which I consider in my approach to weight loss.Any way I can support or encourage u let me know.Send a friend request to Barb W.

Hey Fitbit Community!! 

 

My name is Christy and I'm new to this, as in 20 hours old.😁

I opened the Fitbit box yesterday and deep dived into it. I get to call Santa Monica, CA home, I'm vegan and into the beach vibes so I live quite the healthy lifestyle in this health conscious and fitness motivated community.

Decided to join a few groups and even created a Vegan Life group (would love if you joined!).  SInce the end of 2019 and Covid19 I've had a few health concerns and want to get back to my normal routines - biking, walking, yoga, gym & get rid of the anxiety.  This seems like the perfect place to begin and also meet with other vegans and swap stories and ideas. 

 

I look forward to meeting you and hopefully joining in more groups. Say Hi! 😉

You're right with normal routines. I miss going out without thinking about a face mask or anxiety.
