graninurse,   Well, I live in Michigan the state that you can have all 4 seasons in one day.  But I love it here.   my health goals is not to take a hammer to my verus 2, which I have since Christmas.  I am always trying to connect and I really want to add pictures.  If I ever find time, I enjoy walking, but right now I am dealing with a cancer husband so walking is out of the question.  What will motivate me is to have a watch that works for more then one day.  I bought this watch because of the picture in which I would like to put on it of my husband.  Anyhow I love to see how all of you go after your problems with the watch.  Thanks for inviting me     You may be my support group also.  God Bless

Hello Fitbit family! I'm James.

  1. Where in the world are you? I'm based out of Hamilton, Ontario.
  2. What is your current health/fitness goal? Since the COVID pandemic, I've gained 20 pounds by the end of 2020 and have never been so out-of-shape in years! Currently, it's my goal to return to the active athletic routine I so enjoy. I find really it refreshing.
  3. How do you like to stay fit? Typically, I like to do some kind of training every day. 30 minutes of WiiFit balance and strength activities ending with a 100-push-up challenge. Six laps up and down the 500-step escarpment stairs, and a bit of resistance training.
  4. What motivates you? I was a fat kid, so my motivation comes from experiencing in adulthood the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle that I missed in my childhood.
  5. Favorite guilty pleasure. Gotta love the cheat days! Burgers and fries! 🙂

Hi Mattfitbit,

I am here in the “Political Armpit” that has not taken a bath in 6 months:
The Greater Washington DC Metropolitan Area, in Northern Virginia..

I am a strict (“Walk only”) walker. After living through two life threatening Traumatic Brain injuries (2/1984; 10/2005) my cervical spine, cervical radiculopathy, snapped left clavicle, left side torn rotator cuff, and a Scapula S.L.A.P. tear on the left shoulder, push ups, jumping jacks, lifting weights, running, jogging don’t fit into my physiological framework for exercise.
It nice to post to though,
Have a good day,
Thomasb

Thank you, AndreaFitbit,
One ripped up finger isn’t going to keep me from walking. This one slowed me down a bit “Enrgy-wise…” that’s all…

Thanks for getting back to us @ThomasbB.

That won't keep you from walking for sure. Regarding the energy thing, a little rest helps with that. When I get really tired (that happens really often with my MS) I take a 15 minute break and it helps me to go on with my day.
