I notice that my ‘sleep rate graph’ shows that I had a rate of 49 bpm, yet my ‘resting heart rate’ graph says the lowest bpm was 52. Yes, I know the ‘rate averages’ differ, that is not my question. My question is why does the individual tracking numbers differ - if I had a rate of 49 bpm at 3:15am in one graph, it should show a 49 bpm in a different graph. Are all graphs not drawing from the same data?

I just found something that can help us to understand why the sleep rate graph differs from Resting heart heart rate graph.
Your resting heart rate is the number of times your heart beats per minute when you are still and well-rested. Your resting heart rate is estimated each day. Your sleeping heart rate is detected continuously throughout the night and often it is lower than your resting heart rate. For more information about resting heart rate, see How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?
I hope you find this information helpful. Have a great day!
