Hi there!
I'm also looking for new friends, as I just got a fitbit. I'm a competitive person and want to compete with others on challenges and such, so feel free to add me!
I'm also pretty good with the whole fitness knowledge thing (from nutrition to exercise) and like helping others get motivated.

Hi all! I've had a Charge HR for about 6-7 months now. Did really well with my steps for a while and then I developed arthritis in my lower back. I'm looking for motivation to exercise more - both to help my back and to lose weight!
I'm 35 and work a closing shift in a 6-story library, so I get a lot of floors but not so many steps. Would like some friends to help push me to get more than 10k a day! Challenges are great!

@Noctilca Welcome to the forums! I'm sure you will find a lot of motivation here and a lot of friends to help you push and get 10,000 steps or more.
I see you like metal... you should check the Metalheads Unite thread, you can share anything related to metal music.

Need friends to stay motivated - nothing too crazy... I work a desk job and average 6K steps a day but hoping to increase that... Going back to the gym after a summer break 😉 - 42 years old and hoping to find similar fitbit friends.

Hello, I've had a Fitbit Charge HR for a while but I'm looking to get more motivation to walk more with some new Fitbit friends so if anyone wants to add me please feel free. My step count has been lacking somewhat recently and with winter on the way it's only going to get worse unless I do something about it.
I spend time in Finland and the UK, so would be good to have some European friends to compete with although anyone is welcome to add me.
My aim is to try and get 70,000 steps in a day sometime, for no real reason...

Hello,
I have quite a bit of weight I need to lose to improve my health and my family life. I've lost weight in the past but I always seem to gain it back. I've realized that I need to change my eating habits and I have slowly started doing so, which has helped a lot but now I need to start moving...! I'm looking for friends to motivate and challenge me to help me reach my goal. I need to lose over 100lbs which I know will take time, but since I'm very competitive I figured being challenge will be a good way to get started. As of now my average daily steps are 6-8K.
I posted this msg a little over 2wks ago, I know average 12-14K (steps in a day) thank you all for the friendly competition. Your continuous support and challenges are really helping.

Good day all. Although I usually accept all friend requests, I rarely go out of my way to make them. That's just me I guess. So, here's what I'm looking for - new friends who get an average of 15,000 to 20,000 steps a day. I like to challenge myself and have just recently reached some days of 15,000+. My 28 day average is 13,580 steps. So I need to continue to push myself a little.
I actually look more at the overall calories burned (3500+ per day). As I continue to lose weight though this means I need to be more active to keep those calories burned up.
So, if you think you're interested in helping me motivate myself, please send me a friend request. As I continue to increase my activity perhaps I can motivate you to try keeping ahead of me.

I also have a desk job, but since I started doing challenges I have pushed myself to walk more. I am now at 10-12k steps a day. I'm trying to get to 20k daily steps if interested please add me so we can do more challenges together.
