Hi, I'm 48 year old female from Brisbane, Australia. I want to loose about 10kg and get fitter. My problem is I'm lacking some motivation. I'm looking for some online buddies to share our workouts together and daily activities to help keep each other accountable and motivated.
I cycle to/from work everyday (about 12km each way), but that's all I'm doing at the moment.
I want to start doing body weight training in the park for about a month then weight training at the gym after.
I've created the below workout to start.
Workout 1; squad, side crunch, calfe raise, burpee, lunge, plank, wall sit, skip.
Workout 2; pushup, leg lifts, dips, side hops, superman on stomach, situp with twist, superman on alternate knees, star jumps.
Workout 3; bridge lift, plank with knee to elbow, donkey side kicks, step ups, 1 leg deadlift, crunches, kickback, mountain climbers.
Great, thanks Barbara. I read your bio. Sorry to hear about the weight gain. What exercises are you doing at the moment?
Thats a good routine you have. I am also into cycling and was pretty much a regular commuter until bad roads on the climbs made me stop commuting. I do hit the gym regularly and include long distance cycling in my schedule frequently
Best AnswerI am doing 30 minutes every day on the treadmill and every other day I do the treadmill, lift weights, crunches, push-ups and other arm and leg exercises. I have cut down my food intake. I seem to go up a few pounds but I think I am building muscle.

Best AnswerI would love to find some fit bit friends to do challenges with. I'm not as active as I should be and I think challenges would be a great motivator to get my steps in
I'd be happy to have you in our competitions. We try to keep at least one going at a time. Sometimes it gets up to three or four. Usually the wife and some of our kids get involved too.
Best AnswerHi! I'm Nicole, and I would love to take part in challenges for motivation. Please add me as a Fitbit friend. 🙂
