Fitbit is expanding everyday and we want you to feel free and happy to share with all of us your thoughts, goals, personal trainings, achievements, pictures, stats and everything you would like us to see.
1. Click on user's Community profile page.
2. Click "Go to Fitbit.com profile" next to user's profile image.
3. Send a friend request.
1. Feed: Share information, photos, and achievements with a group or with all your Fitbit friends.
2. Friends: Cheer, taunt, or message your friends, keep up with them.
3. Groups: Create or join a closed group in the Fitbit community to share tips and information.
Remember you can report Fitbit Community posts, users, and groups if you see something that you think isn't appropriate for our community.

Been working out/ walking for 5months trying to lean out and get some challenges done in the fitbit app with other users.

Hi, my name's Lacy. I'm a 34 yr old single mom of 2 living in the Florida panhandle. Just recently started using my teenagers old Fitibit Blaze (she's super in shape and active so no longer needs it plus she wants an apple watch to go with all her other apple products). I've been using it since the beginning of February, right after my youngest turned 6, and have already lost a 1lb. Been eating healthier, less, counting calories and overall trying to be more active. I really want to lose 60 lbs, not only to feel better and better myself but hopefully get the confidence to get out there and date again. I've been single for over 6 yrs now. Anyways, I invested in a Fitibit Aria 2 and love it. I also bought myself a Versa 2, but it is not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S5 (so I have to buy a new phone soon so I can use that). I also recently bought my mom a Charge 3 Special Edition so she will hopefully join me in everything (she gets it tomorrow since it is her birthday). We have an elliptical at home, but it's in the room everyone likes to congregate in, and I'm not up for that when working out, so I wait until everyone is in bed to use it when I can. We are super busy with activities during the week (dance, lacrosse, chorus, art) so workout time is usually on the weekends. We also have a new membership to our YMCA, which is great when I can get more time to use it. Looking for friends to get me motivated, bounce meal ideas around, and maybe others with a hectic life schedule as myself. Bonus if anyone is near the area. (even more bonus if you like video games as myself lol) If you stuck through all this mess, thanks for indulging my need to talk to others haha.

I too am trying to lose 60 lbs. I'm going for 30 lbs at a time so then the task does not seem so daunting.
I just got diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, Stage 3 so I have no choice but to change all of my eating habits. I am going to be seeing a dietitian so I'm sure I will get some good meal ideas from her that I could share with you. I've lose 6 1/2 lbs so far. I'm mostly watching how much I eat. I am measuring my food now. I found that really makes a BIG difference. I never knew how small your portions should really be until I started messing and weighing everything I eat. I also enter every single thing that goes in my mouth to the online fitbit dashboard. The hardest thing is to drink so much water and I love water but it wants you to drink a lot! I am 61 years old but my mind is still young! I'd be happy to float ideas around with you.

Hi,
My name is Henk and i'm from the Netherlands. I'm 44 years young and need to get in a better shape.
You know, the 40+ belly started coming and i hate it 😛
So i just started walking more and i'm going to start working out again.
I have a rowing machine and some weights to work with.
I'm also on myfitnesspal to track my food intake. username: henkfeenstra2019.

I stopped drinking beer during the week, only one or two in the weekends. And started eating more fruit. I'm getting there 😉
And if there are dutch people here, more reason to connect! Maybe we can ask Fitbit to add the dutch food also, so i don't have to use myfitnesspal because that app rocks with the dutch food.
