I do all of those but the kicker is travelling back an hour to work in rush hour traffic to pick it up because I left it in my locker. I could have easily left it there over night but that wasn't happening.

Congratulations on your weight loss @JuanVB, you've proved that all the little things count and we must take advantage of every opportunity we have to get closer to our goal.
Congratulations also to you guys @Peggie and @Frank_fit! you've definitely shown great commitment and I'm sure you'll reach all your goals as well.

@EmersonFitbit That's one the new features of the dashboard I like - how many steps until you've beaten yesterday. Today I looked and I was 8 steps off - 8 steps! You can bet I got those 8 steps. 🙂

Woah! Similar story:
We had a "Step-tember" event last month here at Fitbit HQ. During the workweek, I was racking up 30K, 40K, 37K, etc., pretty consistently. But I wanted to shoot for that ever-elusive 50K day, some I'd only done once before last month.
So, I woke up at 4 AM, walked until 6, went to work for 8 hours, walked another 2-3 hours, and then had a soccer game. I got home with 48K walked around my apartment until I couldn't do it anymore and went to bed with 50,154 steps. This was a huge acheivement for me!
When I went to compare it to my best day ever, I realized that I was 9 steps short of having my best day ever 😕 Eh, what are you going to do?

You know that you are a fitbiholic when you never walk in straight line, Always in zig zag.
People looking at you like you are insane.

Do you have a treadmill? I found out that many of my challenge mates have treadmills. I use the great outdoors and walking in the office. I call those who use treadmills cheaters (laughing as I say it).

Walking outdoor is great, you have the sun, the sky and the nature around you.
Treadmills having advantages of course to.

I like outdoors but treadmill is a necessity. I decided to get rid of my treadmill because it needs repairs,... and to get a Gym membership for $10 down $10 a month. if you buy one is almost 700 or 800 $$$ I am talking about the basic ones.
In Florida we do have crazy weather and it is better to play safe for a rainy day.
I am doing part of my training outdoors [ morning, lunch and breaks] but when I need to reach the goal (20'000 steps a day) I am walking to the GYM and reach my goal in the treadmill. ....and it is time to trick your body with a few upper-body exercises.
Total weight lost 45 lbs in two months

@RoseAnn_M Hahaha, I don't have a treadmill at home but I would like to. I have a dog though. He might be behind those high numbers.

Getting the steps in daily is huge and yes being addicted to it is great. I too look at the end of the day to see where I am at an walk around the house. I even set alarms on my phone so I can get the extra steps at work at alarm times.

Change the time zone and get 9 steps. 🙂

@EdsonFitbit lol! My dog hides everytiime I want to go walking. And I have no treadmill either. The great outdoors is for me ... well until the winter comes then it will be day to day. Snow is about the only thing that may stop me and that depends on how much.

You park further away from the shops to gain extra steps
I can go along with this, when I park at work near Oxford UK, I walk along the edge of the carpark and then turn back to walk towards the building. Everyone looks at me as if I am nuts, but if you can get an early start on the steps, there's not so many to do later

I'm addicted to Fitbit! When I am not using my tracker (charging) I always tend to take a look at my wrist as if it was there, because I am so used to it! I love this device.
