Did you mean:

You know you're a Fitbit addict when...

  • You pace the house to get to a particular figure before going to bed
  • You sit down when recharging as you don't want to 'waste' any steps
  • You park further away from the shops to gain extra steps

I signed up for Cardiac Rehab after bypass because my wife was accusing me of walking too much. Now I will get 10k more steps. At 66 I thought I had more sense than this. lol

I to have become a Fitbit addict.
Your addicted when:
You stay up late, because it's 10 minutes before midnight, and you need another 700 steps to meet you goal for the day.
You leave to meet you daughter for a walk, but you leave early, because she only wants to do 5 miles, and you want 7.

You know your an addict when you volunteer to feed your wifes' cats just to
go to the garage and get your last 200 steps. I hate cats lol.

A few week ago I was out getting my steps in, and it was 7 degrees, chill factor -15 with blowing snow. At no time did I ever think that was a bad idea.
There is no bad weather, just inappropriate clothing.

Stay strong

You are a better man than I. I came in 1969 and retired in 2003 ( yes that is a long time, check screen name) Did pick up CW5, just didn't want a career afterwards. God Bless.

Don't think better. Working earned me 2 heart attacks and two bypass
Surgeries. I lost 50 lbs and can't stop walking. I am in better shape now.
Walk about 8-10 miles per day. I disappoint myself when I get less than 15k
steps. What part of country you live in?

Congratulations on the weight loss, great job. It makes me feel good to know that a fellow brother is out there doing so well, keep it up. I to can't stop walking. I am sitting here right now waiting for a contractor, and it is driving me nuts. I try to walk early morning every day, and I am late getting started,.

Wow! Talk about lives running parallel to each other. I'm survivor of three heart attacks, all during terminal leave. Never had any bypass work, just stents, and constant visits to my cardiologist. He says a pacemaker is in my furture. However I did break my back three times, crashing helicopters are not very forgiving. When I started walking I could only do 1 to 1.5 miles. Now it's up to 6 or 7. Love what FB has done for all of us.
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Only time arrested was close to "Garden of the Gods" for jaywalking.
Stationed there in 1969
5th Mech. Inf. Colorado didn't like Army back in those days. We were
trouble makers. I hang my hat in Sweet Home Alabama near Guntersville.
