I can't believe the One is discontinued!!!!  I really need another One since I mistakenly flushed it down the toilet when trying to hook it onto my sweatpants.  Anyone know why it's no longer available??

It’s just not right that the One has been discontinued -  and the number of responses in this community backs up that comment! I looked up corporate info to see contacts and noticed something interesting - 6 people are listed for management, and ALL are men! On the Board of Directors, 5 men, 2 women. I wager that most men would not use a Fitbit One. Anyone interested in starting a petition?

I’m in..Bring back the ONE

I think the ONE tracks steps better than any other tracker..I’ve tried several and there is no comparison. Really liked the style and feel of the Alta but ithe step count was not as accurate as the ONE. Bring back the ONE, please

Yes, bring it back! The reply that Fitbit gave about not having one sounded like they didn't read the messages or didn't understand what and why we are saying. Was probably a man.

Anybody start a petition yet?  Anybody know how/where?  I'm in.  Love the One.  I've actually bought 3 of them (lost one, broke another) and would buy a 4th if ever needed (and if available, of course).

I would love to add my name to any petition to bring back the ONE or come up with a newer version of the One (maybe the TWO) that also once again shows the alarm on the tracker. I understand the trendy thing is to try to imitate Apple with watches, but I work in a plant where watch wearing is not allowed for safety reasons. Also, to wear a watch around the yard while doing yard chores and gardening poses a problem from time to time. The ONE can be worn inconspicuously and out of the way making it safe for factory workers or ones that cannot wear a watch on a daily basis. We need an alternative, that can be worn inconspicuously, that does everything the ONE did. The ZIP (ha ha seriously??) just doesn't cut it.

It's pretty obvious Fitbit is willing to alienate their Fitbit One users. Once my One dies I just will stop using a tracker since I refuse to wear one on my wrist. Instead of keeping a loyal customer for years to come they are losing one but I guess they doesn't resign-ate with them. I guess they think they have enough business to lose us though their financials would tell a different story.

THIS says it all. I cannot wear a wrist tracker at work even if I wanted to. I had a zip and it ate batteries at a such a rate I ditched it cost me four batteries in a year. I bought the One and have been happy with it. I was waiting for an upgrade for the One to come out, not for them to discontinue it.

I posted that I want the Fitbit ONE back on my Facebook page.

And since lithium batteries lose capacity with age even if not used, you could still pay that much and get one with limited battery life remaining.

Unfortunately it's very believable.  They are a business.  The hype about being focused on health, fitness and wellbeing is called marketing.  Watches and the other devices bring in more revenue.  Although my experience has been the FitBit One users are more dedicated for a longer period of time (easier to put in a pocket or on clothing as others get tired of wearing the watch after awhile), the company makes no more or less money whether or not you wear the devices, as long as you purchase one.  If you remember it is ONLY about the money then much of what they do is understood.  (And to be fair to FitBit, this is true with most businesses)

Agreed except that it is your returning customers that you want to at least provide a valid upgrade path for. Watches, heartrate  equals more profit but how many of the customers that were their original base do not have a valid upgrade path. In the four years I have been around the Fitbit product the One has never dropped in price. Electronics drop in price over time. I would have expected the price on the One to drop slightly and discontinue the Zip. This would have provide a replacement path for current owners and an upgrade path at least for Zip owners. We have all said we were happy with the One and would have bought a replacement or an upgrade. I was waiting for a valid upgrade to move to, now it appears they want me to leave and buy another vendors product when my One fails.

Very sad. Agreed...they should have dumped Zip and upgraded One. I don't understand that...they removed the upgrade path from zip and made a lot of happy One users unhappy without a non-wrist alternative.

Jogger, (I don't work for FitBit)

I am a pissed off customer that values the One and will never buy a watch or something I have to put around my wrist.  I also agree that FitBit should provide a non-wrist wearing option like the one.  Fortunately for me, I bought an extra One a while back as mine was stolen last week.  Hopefully this will last awhile as then I'm out of luck.  Most people I know who bought the watch quit wearing it after awhile.   For me, the heart rate option is not important and could care less.  The "One" has all the options I want and need.

If someone has a NON-FitBit option they can suggest that would replace the "One", I'm sure there are many people that would appreciate that.
