When my Mac mini wakes up from sleeping, the Fitbit Connect icon gets an exclamation mark on it and don't sync automatically.
I can get them sync manually by clicking Sync Now link on the Fitbit Connect icon after turning off and on bluetooth of my Mac.
Does anyone know how to sync automatically on macOS Catalina?

Is it on the supported Devices list?
If not than thats why. I'm sure it will get added at some point

@ajapaneseuser There is a thread in the fitbit.com Dashboard forum about this issue. The workaround is similar what you are doing. Here is a link to that thread.
@WendyB The Mac Mini is neither a smartphone nor a tablet. it is a desktop computer.
