My 4+ year old Fitbit one has not synced to either phone or PC for 2 weeks. Fitbit is totally charged. Phone app says there is a tracker software update, but it won't allow it to update while trying to sync. I have tried all the help instructions, including resetting my Fitbit. I have shut off Bluetooth and restarted, I have also tried syncing to PC. I need help please.

My issue has been resloved by reading a prevous poster with similar issues. I ended up syncing to the PC, so if you don't have a PC I am not sure how to sync directly to phone app. First I shut off wifi bluetooth to phone, (phone was nearby PC and fitbit), plug in fitbit charger to PC then plug fitbit into charger. Reset fitbit by holding down button for at least 15 seconds. Unplug fitbit from charger and PC, turn fitbit on and follow syncing instructions to pc.(1st time tried syncing to pc and it would not sync). I had to reset fitbit 2 times, it did sync the second time. The previous poster said it may take 3 times to reset fitbit. After finally syncing to PC, I then turned wifi back on phone as was able to sync it to the phone app. The secret is to reset the fitbit more than once and have the phone wifi OFF (if it is within 20 feet from PC) while trying to sync to PC. I don't know what I would have done if not having a PC.
You might add in your troubleshooting tips, the fitbit may have to be reset multiple times before it will sync.

I am having the same issue. The last time my Fitbit One (since May 2014) synced to my iPhone 7 was on 9-6-18. I have followed all of the suggested steps and still no syncing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@dsjs Thanks for your reply and for sharing the positive experience and workaround that helped you out to resolve this. I'm sure this will be helpful for other users as well.
@apgargirl @Kdewitt2 Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for trying those troubleshooting steps shared here in order to sort this out.
Have you tried the shared workaround by @dsjs that helped her out? It is worth giving it a try. Find it in her post above marked as a solution. @JulieLaux
If that doesn't work, please let me know!

Not sure who can view my post so this may be repeated. Yes, the shared
workaround by @dsjs worked well on the first try. Thanks everyone for the
help.
I am very sorry to hear this---hope you find a solution soon. I love my
FitBit One and don't really wish to find another option.

I am in Australia and having the same problem. The Fitbit is now synching for current activity but had not recorded/ is not completing the data that went 'missing' when it stopped synching yesterday. Normally, this would come back (ie stored on fitbit and then available for synching once synching restored). Is there a way to retrieve this?

@sadd Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for sharing the experience you are having with your One not retrieving the previous data for your activities.
That is strange! What kind of data was lost? Was it steps or was it an activity log?
You can retrieve any lost data by manually logging your activity. You will receive accurate data when doing this.
Give that a try and let me know how it goes!
