Hi Everyone!
So sorry to hear about the issues syncing your One. Fortunately, I have some suggestions to help:
1. Restart your tracker.
2. Reboot the computer, tablet, or phone you're trying to sync with.
3. Open the Fitbit app to initiate a sync.
4. If your One is still not syncing, take a look at our help article to learn how to set up your tracker as a new device.
I'd also double check a few things:
1. Make sure that your iOS, Android, and Windows Fitbit app is updated to the latest version. If you're syncing to a Windows device, please keep in mind that we recommend updating to Windows 10 and using the Windows 10 Fitbit App.
2. If you've upgraded to OS 6.0 (Marshmallow) on your Android device, make sure that you have location services turned on in the settings.
3. Is the device you're trying to sync your tracker to on our list of compatible devices?
Those of you who are seeing an error message or the "Fitbit 6.60" message when trying to sync, please take a screenshot of this and attach it to this thread. The more information I have the better I can help!
I hope this helps! Please let me know how it goes. ![]()

Best AnswerThe following always work for me: plug in your fitone like if you were to charge it, press button and hold for 10-12 seconds and relese, remove from charger and press button again until it turns on. restart your pc and you should be good to go.
Best AnswerMy fitbit wasn't syncing and I got on here and always get good advice and whola!.....working now! Thanks for helping an old guy...........
Best AnswerSo my One started this not 'syncing' yesterday now. I tried the tips of holding down for 15 seconds found in this article - yesterday I got it to sync again but now today I can't get it to sync no matter what I try. I've rebooted...nothing. I can't get the version to come up though. I don't know what I"m doing wrong. It's also not reflecting that I've recharged my battery tonight I see. This is very frustrating. I don't even see a phone # where I can call and get help with this. Kind of at a loss right now....
Best AnswerThere's a post here from a Moderator advising that the Mac synching problem has been solved with a new version of the application. I had to delete the old version, clear the Mac's caches and re-start the machine, and then re-install the application - so far so good.
Cheers,
mb
I have tried restarting my Fitbit One, Rebooting my computer and every other thing listed in these posts. I can not get my Fitbit One to talk to either my computer or my Android phone for over two weeks now. I tried to delete the "One" and reinstall it, now it is no longer on my Android. I am using Windows 7 on my computer at this time. My Fitbit One is about 6 months old so the battery should not be the issue. I try and have the bluetooth talk to the cell phone and it says it can't find it when you try and pair it.
Best AnswerMy wife's One keeps failing to sync. I've tried restarting it a number of times, restarted her android phone and fully charged both. I even tried restarting bluetooth a number of times. Nothing seems to work. Help??
Best AnswerI have tried but to no avail. I will shut my computer down but probably won't be able to find this page again. Thanks to all who tried to help. My computer was off line for a week and only found out today that I have not had any steps recorded for a week. My fitbit is counting steps but no record is reported to my iPhone or my computer. I have sent an email so maybe someone there will be able to help.
Best AnswerJumped through all the hoops about a week ago. Nothing worked. Then my One started syncing as mysteriously as it stopped. Then here we go again…it stopped again tonight. I've had it! This happens FREQUENTLY. It still tracks, and I can enter things manualy. Forget the support people, they just say it's out of warranty, buy another one. NO THANKS…tooooo many problems.
Best AnswerI can't beleive how much time this is taking and still getting nowhere. Last synced on 29th August and now won't do it at all. Have tried many of the suggestions on this forum but still getting nowhere. I may as well resort to keeping a manual log. This had not been a problem since I started in December last year but since the Fitbit website has changed I've hit a brick wall

Best AnswerI have been an active Fitbit user for many many years. I must say it has kept me focus on my exercises and daily workouts. Since last week my fitbit one stop syncing with all my devices. Please do not ask me to try the solutions already listed in this forum. I have already read the many solutions offered in this forum and none has worked for me. Interestingly my bluetooth is able to detect "One" but cannot communicate with the device. I would like to ask the Moderator if this is the end of my Fitbit One. If yes I will stop trying and dispose the device. Its just a sad ending to an otherwise good relationship.
Since the last update (version 2.32 (2183025)) syncs have often been slow or only partial. Having to re-sync to complete the data transfer.
Android 6.0.1
Kernel 3.4.0-gad29d11
I tried the hold down button trick and the One seems to have come back to life but still wont sync. The message I see when I check my Bluetooth connections is 'Driver error'. Help?? I'm syncing to a Windows 10 laptop.
