My Fitbit One has been counting steps and working fine however when I go to sync it to my phone, it will not sync. In the app it says that it has successfully synced and my calories burned sync however my steps do not.

I have been having problems with my One not synching. At first I could reboot the One and it would recover but that has stopped working now. I logged out of my app, shut off my phone's Bluetooth, rebooted my One, turned the bt back on and logged back into my app. Still nothing! I am so frustrated! I missed logging in a big hike I did! And another one coming up tomorrow. My One's data and the badges keep me motivated!
I forgot to mention I also updated my app

@MakenziKool @KBonacci @Iwantabodyfitbt Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for sharing the experience you are having with your One not syncing correctly. Thanks for sharing those details about this.
It seems that @Iwantabodyfitbt shared a workaround that helped her out with this. Please try performing a restart on your One. That should certainly help you out.
If that doesn't help, please try these syncing troubleshooting steps to sort this out. Try the steps in the order given for best results.
@Flutterby4x Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for your effort in trying all of those steps to sort this out. Sorry to hear about the lost hike. You can manually log it to recover it.
Also, have you tried syncing with a different mobile device or computer?
If that doesn't help please let me know and I'll help you out to contact customer support for further assistance.
Hope this helps. Keep me posted!

I had to reset twice, power off my phone, uninstall then reinstall the app, resign in to app, shut off bluetooth then turn back on and now my One is syncing again.

Hello,
I've been running into the same issue. My fitbit only syncs right after I restart it. Once it restarts it syncs and then it doesn't sync anymore. I've tried everything from un-installing and re-installing the app, restarting my device, turning on/off the bluetooth, but nothing seems to sort out the problem long term. Any help would be much appreciated.

Yep same. If I restart the Fitbit which means being by my computer with a cable it will sync temporarily. An hour later though it'll refuse to sync again until I get to my computer and restart it. I've done everything. Reinstalled the app countless times . Logged in and out. The only thing that temporarily works is a reset at my computer. This is beyond frustrating. It's been this way since August.

I've been having this problem for several days. I have tried everything suggested. It was syncing once on the day I did all the steps suggested, then the next day I had to do it all over again. Finally today after trying all the steps - nothing. No sync at all.
If I didn't get monetary credit on my health insurance and gym membership, I would throw this device in the garbage.
It seems to be with all the devices that Fitbit has made and sells that they would have software personnel that could create something that worked.

Thank you. I manually entered my steps from yesterday since my Fitbit One will not sync. I have tried all suggested solutions. They worked for a time, but not today. I don't want to make a career out of this, after all.
I get credit on my gym membership as well as my health insurance for achieving 10k steps a day which I have done almost religiously for the past three years.

If you have Android, it's probably something to do with it, but still no fix for almost 2 months: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Android-9-0-Pie-not-able-to-sync/td-p/2889550/highlight/...

Mine device won't sync either. The steps are on my tracker but not on my phone or computer. I tried your suggestion to sync, and now my tracker has gone dark on me! Sad!

Thanks - mine has been having this same issue tonight and I'd tried all the other options but the reset did the trick!
