Fitbit One not recognizing today as a new day

I had a look around, and didn't see this exact issue.  My Fitbit One was acting as if the battery had run down (although it hadn't), so I rebooted it.  Now it is counting steps, calories, etc...but it's adding onto yesterday's information rather than starting anew for this morning.

I have rebooted it as per the instructions in other threads, but it doesn't seem to recognize that Nov 30th is a new day.  On the iphone app and the PC dashboard, the steps/miles just count as ZERO for today.  On the actual Fitbit One device itself, those things are being counted, but as I said, they are just continuing on from yesterday's numbers.  So right now it's telling me I've taken about 13,000 steps---that's yesterdays's 12,000 plus today's 1000.  I hope that makes sense.

Anyway, does anyone know how I might reset it so it recognizes that today is a new day?  I've had this thing for several years and never experienced this before.  I've done a few reboots already, and am not sure what else to try.

Thanks. 🙂

Hmmm....replying to myself.  During the time I was sitting there writing that post my Fitbit seems to have magically reset itself, so now I'm at 0 for the day.  Wouldn't be the first bizarre thing to happen this month, that's for sure.  So I guess that's taken care of.

Hey @elderwanda, great to see you!

I'm glad to know that you were able to resolve the issue yourself. If this happens again I recommend checking if the time zone in the account is the right one.
