Fitbit One won't sync to any device

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The last time my Fitbit One synced, was on Nov. 3.  It won't sync on my computer, my laptop or my Android phone.  All have Bluetooth and have been updated.  I'm very frustrated.  Any ideas?  Or do I just need to get a new one?

The same thing is happening to me. Mine hasn't synced since April! I've tried everything. And now for some reason, it's telling me it's p.m. instead of a.m., so I can get accurate readings for the day.

Yes. It was syncing just fine until about 5 weeks ago. Nothing has changed
on any devices. They all have Bluetooth and the Fitbit apps.

I did get it to finally sync last night however it's hit or miss when it does sync.I did all the things it asked.I think for some reason it is not connecting to my dongle as it says it cant find it.I know my dongle has to be okay - I pull it in and out and can hear the chiming noise when I do.At first it said that I didn't have Bluetooth connection then it went to USB  dongle not connected wont sync. However when I use the app on my phone it will sync to my One.As long as I can get it to sync once a day I am okay.I should tell you that I do also have the Alta HR also connected to my account.Wish I could only use one device but the Alta doesn't have a way to track time like the One does that is why I have 2 .

@kimbedone Thanks for your reply and for sharing those details and for trying those steps. I'm glad it is back to syncing.

By any chance, have you tired using a compatible mobile device to sync it? That should also be a good option for you. You can sync both of your devices like that too.

I've tried everything mentioned in the recommendations and am frustrated. I am out of the US for an extended period of time. I know my Fitbit One is working since it is recording every day. I cannot get it to sync. Normally I sync to a computer at home that has a dongle. I do not have the dongle with me. I have the Fitbit app on my laptop and iPhone. I cannot get the either the laptop or iPhone's Bluetooth to see the One.  I deleted the app from the phone and reinstalled it. That was useless.

Please advise further.

Also do you have a chat system or email address that can be used.

I have the exact same problem. as of last night my Fitbit just stopped syncing. nothing changed anywhere. Bluetooth on my iMac and iPad no longer "see" it. I've tried just about everything to get it to work. Since someone previously said they deleted the app and reinstalled it and still had the same problem, I opted out of doing that step. Very frustrated!

btw...it has worked for years w/o any problems.

and now it's working again. I have no idea what made it start working. I'm grateful I didn't delete the app from my ipad...so I know that's not a good fix for when/if this happens again.

The only thing I can think of that really fixed it was restarting the fitbit itself. Although it took about maybe 10 minutes or so afterwards to register.

My One is nearly 5 years old and I've had very few problems.  It didn't sync today, and I went through the steps.  The first time I restarted it, it still wasn't syncing.  I tried that again, and did something (not intentionally) that made it reset the whole device.  This caused me to have to do a setup again on my phone, but it seems to have solved the problem.  I lost my steps for today (for the historical data), but it does have all the historical data from before.

I really love my One, and wish there was another clip device that counted floors to replace this discontinued model.

Same here. Won’t sync. Followed all the steps. iPhone won’t “find” it; just keeps “searching”.

Last month it was syncing just fine. Nothing has changed since then. I
have the same computer, same mobile phone, same laptop, same Fitbit
account. I've tried all the suggestions and it still won't work.

My Fitbit One last synced on Dec 13th. Now I can't get the app on any device to find this tracker. All devices (Android phone, Apple phone and iPad) are up to date. None of them can locate this One. I've tried all the troubleshooting steps listed on this forum. This is very frustrating. What else can I do?
