How do I find the serial number for my Fitbit One?

How do I find the serial number for my Fitbit One? There are two numbers on the box but I have no idea which is the serial number. One thread suggested it was the number at the end of a url link in Dashboard but that number doesn't match either on the box.

Go to your device setting https://www.fitbit.com/settings/device, then click on your device. Look at the the URL of the page, the numbers after "tracker." is your Fitbits I'd.

But it is backwards from whats on the box. If you have the Box I would use it

@ValRob Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for posting you inquiry regarding this topic.

In this case, you can find the serial number at the bottom of the box. It should be the one that is not the barcode. More likely it should be the second number, the one that is below the barcode. 

Why do you need the serial number? What kind of difficulties are you experiencing?

Thanks Wendy -  I got that number and now see that it is sort of backwards to one of the numbers on the box. It's backwards in pairs. I have no idea why that is the case! Thanks for your help.

Thank you - I can now see which it is on the box with the help from WendyB's tip above looking at that url. Both numbers on the box have bar codes. The serial number is the one on the left. 

I wanted it as I register valuables with the Police Database so anything that goes out of the house regularly I put on there like cameras, laptops, etc. I don't understand why Fitbit don't let their users have their serial numbers more easily. I see a lot of people asking how to find their serial numbers online and the 'official' reply is often a suspicious 'why do you want it?'

@ValRob Thanks for your reply! I'm glad the posts you found on this thread were helpful for you to find the serial number.

I was asking as usually users think they need the serial number in order to contact customer support and get service; which is not true. So, I was just checking if you needed any help with your tracker or if you were experiencing difficulties with it so I could provide some troubleshooting steps.

I am also looking for the serial number of my fitbit one and I no longer have the box to match it to. Can someone confirm that it is the number at the end of the url? The previous posters are saying that the numbers in the url are backwards? Or is there another way to find the serial number?
