For the second time in a year I lost my Fitbit One. When I go to replace it, I see the major local stores, Target, Walmart, Best Buy no longer carry it and even on Amazon, only the black model readily available. Is the Fitbit One being discontinued and if so, is it being replaced?

Unless you go 'bottom of the line' fitbit now has no clip trackers 😞
I am a nurse and can't wear anything on my wrists (infection control) or around my neck in case someone grabs it...
I've had to change to a BellaBeat Leaf tracker but I much prefer the FitBit calorie counter etc. Any chance of developing a clip for the Flex 2? The ones on eBay are belt clip and I can't wear a belt with scrubs...

@phv--Isn't it frustrating?

Really disappointed that the Fitbit One is unavailable. It was small and easily clipped where it was undetectable. I do not like to wear a band on my wrist when exercising. The new Zip offers very little in terms of information while exercising.

I sadly believe they are getting rid of this because it's a reliable tracker and it doesn't force the user to upgrade every year. My husband has had his for 4.5 years, SAME EXACT ONE from the start, has never had to replace it and it still holds charge for 1-2 weeks! I've had mine for 3 years-same one and only had to replace my first one because I sent it through the washing machine, and that obviously was my own dumb fault. This tracker isn't making Fitbit any money because it's a one and done piece of equipment which sadly isn't something companies strive for anymore. If it's reliable why would they keep selling it? Where is the money in that?!! I've purchased a Flex 2 secondhand as backup and I HATE it. I bought it because I know I could get 'clips' for it but I don't like that it shows the actual steps. No one wants to see dots! Sadly after my ONE dies (which lets be real could still be years because that thing is amazing) I'll probably move on from Fitbit sadly unless a comparable replacement comes into play.

I have been a customer for over 5 years and am a very unhappy customer since I need to replace my Fitbit One. The suggestion was made on this thread that if we want a clip-on-tracker to purchase the Fitbit Zip? Seriously? The Zip isn't even close to offering the same features as the One and definitely a step down which says to me that Fitbit doesn't particularly care for the customers that used that product. Maybe Fitbit should have discontinued the Zip instead. I do not want to wear something on my wrist. I am so disappointed. Fitbit has lost a loyal customer.

Today I called the Fitbit customer service line 877-623-4997 and talked to an "advocate" named Naomi. She politely said the company "could be" coming out with a second version of the Fitbit One but that there are no updates right now. Believe me, I TOTALLY have my doubts that this will happen, but MAYBE if we all call and let our voices be heard about our concerns they will rethink their position on discontinuing the One or at least come out with a newer version of the One. CALL TODAY!! #BringbacktheOne

I have a One, and bought the Alta quite some time ago but found the step count was considerably less than the One so it was returned. Has this issue been corrected? My One is only holding a charge for a day or two now and I need to get something else if the Ome is being discontinued.

Hi KateFitbit:
Thanks for the update. I do have a bit of feedback to your post.
- It is nice you support "ones" in warranty, but that is what you should do as a company. It is NOT "most importantly"
- We appreciate the thread, but MOST IMPORTANTLY as you can read and know - - FitBit is not offering us a migration path with the same or better features.
- We users highly encourage you KateFitbit to listen to your loyal customer base regarding a non-wrist solution that " keeps us on track with the most up-to-date health and fitness tracking tools". I feel FitBit is presuming to much for us as loyal customers.
Please let us know if this is a lost cause or if corporate is discussing . If not, we have a disappointing decision to make.
Best Regards

What will your offering be for someone who is allergic to the plastic and can not wear the wrist version yet likes the flights of stairs tracked? The zip doesn’t measure stairs!

@KateFitbit I'm sure I'm not the only one to appreciate your updates Kate, but even if we have been heard, the refusal to answer our most important questions does not speak well for Fitbit:
1. Why has Fitbit chosen to completely abandon this segment of its market?
2. Will there be an equivalent replacement on down the line?
3. Why is the One being discontinued without a replacement being announced?
If there is a technological reason, or a supplier reason, why don't you simply share that with us? That would go a long way toward alleviating the anger so many One users are feeling toward Fitbit at this point. As it stands, you are basically just kicking us while we're down by reiterating a meaningless company line.
