I've had to reinstall my fitbit one everyday for the past week. The fitbit one works but it will not sync unless I uninstall and reinstall. This fact and the battery drain issue is making me feel that fitbit is trying to force  the fitbit one users to buy another of their products.

This reminds me of what happened when jawbone discontinued my bodymedia fit Jan. 2016.

That's when I purchased a fitbit one. Here we go again.

Same problem. My One won't sync, the battery drains in a day and a half. I have tried everything in the Help section. This has been a wonderful tracker and I don't want to buy a watch-type tracker as I have a really nice watch. Please help get my One syncing.

My Fitbit One is no longer syncing (iPhone 5s IOS 11.1.2).. I have reinstalled the app but that did not work..  an you please fix?

When I uninstall/install I'm on my PC/ Windows 10. Last night I tried the following fix thinking maybe the bluetooth driver was corrupted.

I uninstalled the Bluetooth driver..shut down/restart after uninstall.

That way, the system will automatically install the generic Bluetooth driver.

So far this has worked for me. I don't have the smart phone device so I don't know how this

would be done on these devices. I come back to the forums if this fix doesn't stick.

I got my Fitbit one to sync. I followed the directions which said to plug the Fitbit into the computer and reboot it, taking 10 to 12 seconds holding the button on the Fitbit down. It was as simple as that.

It is now working intermittently. Anytime an app is updated, then the fitbit app needs to be re-sync by reinstalling it. I have an Apple Watch and when I updated that software, then myfit bit would not sync again. It is working now.

I've returned to update my previous post of 4 days ago. Each day since that post I've done an uninstall/reinstall on my pc windows 10 & fitbit app. After this my fitbit one would sync till the next day.

Well today 12/9/17 the previous fixes stopped working. I will continue to try to find a fix but I will not be shopping for another fitbit product. I feel this company wants us to do this when they stop supporting

a product. I will return if I find a fix of the fitbit one. I'm not really wanting to devote more of my time on a problem this company is aware of but not willing to do the right thing for it's customers.

Hi, sorry you're still having problems with your One. Did you try to plug your One in to your computer then hold the button down for 10-12 sec to reset it? I tried this procedure and it synced after it reset. Good luck. Gailfrag

Yay!  We're in business again.  Plugged it in, held in for 20 secs to be on the safe side then turned mobile off and on again.  No it has synced.  Thank you!

Looks like this is a recurring problem. Maybe has something to do with updating, maybe just because they don't want to deal with Fitbit One, now that they have discontinued it. Which, IMO, was a bad move. It was ideal for those of us who don't want to wear a watch-type tracker. Plus, it gave me just what I needed to know, without the HR tracking, etc. Nice to have I suppose, but not an issue for me. I have tried re-booting a number of times now, with no luck. It seems to sync once or twice a day, or thereabouts, but never when I want it to. I went round and round with useless tech support when it started having problems, and saying that it may be synced with another program, and to disconnect it. Which I did, with no change. Still says it is connected to another platform. This started intermittently in Nov., and has gotten worse since. It was also shutting down and not tracking.

I hear you loud and clear about tech support. I'm still fighting(daily)to get my fitbit one to sync. Eventually I get it to work but only after way to much time has been devoted to the problem. It's not always the same fix that gets it to sync
which is frustrating. I would give up on it if it wasn't the holidays and I really can't be spending money on me.
But as soon as I have extra cash I'm out of here. No I won't
purchase any of their other products.

It's pretty sad that they can't fix this problem, and I strongly suspect it has to do with the 6.64 update, as the problems started to arise suspiciously close to then. Like in November. But, since they no longer make the One, I suspect they don't want to spend too much money on it anymore. And, it appears we are the losers in the deal. Too bad, because it was an ideal little tracker, and it didn't have to be worn on the wrist. I think we can only hope they will feel some sort of responsibility and fix this thing, and then don't do anymore software updates. Just let it work the way it is. It's fine. I don't think I will be returning to the Fitbit camp because of this problem. There are lots of others out there for $20 that will last at least as long as my One did. And I paid a lot more for it than $20.

I have tried every possible way I can imagine, including putting it in rice to dry it out (no, it never got wet, I'm just desperate), and absolutely nothing is working. A few times it resurrected for a few days, and then for another day, but now it seems it won't come back at all. Does anyone else have any ideas? I'll even be willing to try the black arts, at this point! I don't get it.
