Fitbit One fresh out of the box won't start up. I plugged the charge cord into my laptop and when I push the button it says Fitbit6.4, then sometimes shows what I think is a full battery for a second then goes dead. Pushing the button again does nothing. I can only get the Fitbit6.4 message again if I take the device out of the charger and put it in again starting over.
I have tried the restart protocol several times to no avail.
Any suggestions before I send it back? Thanks

Hi @Vangogh
Try a restart. That is usually the first thing to do when there is a problem. You might also need to be sure the One has the latest updates.
Click to go to the One user manual and related help articles.
Just curious, but where did you find the One? It's been retired and so many people are missing it.
Let us know how things go for you.

@Vangogh Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with your new One not starting up.
Are you still experiencing the same?
Have you tried the restart steps that @Odyssey13 kindly suggested? That should certainly help you out with this.
Also, where did you buy your One?
