I just received my new Fitbit for Christmas and I hanged it fully and connected it to my phone but it keeps unpairing and the screen won't turn on unless its plugged in but has never turned on when not connected to the charger. It also isn't staying connected to my phone. (It's on the newest 6.64 update I believe and I've tried "re-starting" multiple times)

@posie1one did you mean to say "charged" instead of "hanged"?
If it's not turning on except when plugged in, unfortunately, your new one has a dead battery. It's unfortunately awkward as this was a gift but can you find out if it's got a return policy or warranty you can take advantage of? I'm assuming whoever bought this from you didn't get it directly from Fitbit as they no longer manufacture it but some sellers offer their own warranties and replacements. Dead batteries are VERY common in "new" Fitbit Ones.

@Williger especially when they stopped making your "new" Fitbit one 5 years ago. Kind of like saying, I bought a brand new Ford Pinto. Why are the rubber tires dry rotted?
