Though Fitbit One is a popular product, as we introduce new products, we occasionally make changes to our product line to keep you on track with the most up-to-date health and fitness tracking tools.
As a result, we no longer sell the One. We recommend considering the other discreet options we offer- Fitbit Zip, if you prefer a clip-based tracker or Fitbit Flex 2 if you prefer a slim, wrist-based tracker. Or, take our quiz on http://www.fitbit.com/compare to see which device meets your needs best.
We apologize for any inconvenience and hope we can continue to provide you with Fitbit trackers you love and help you reach your goals.

Hi Kate. I understand that fitbit has moved strongly towards wrist devices and understand that for most people that is an acceptable alternative and perhaps more convenient. As a surgeon the wrist devices are exceedingly unusable most days as part of my job involves scrubbing my arms and no jewelry can be worn. This is the same problem that my entire OR team has. While I understand that in the scope of things we are a small community I just wondered if you had thought about this problem with the wrist devices.
Thanks!

I agree as well. That is one of my issues as a nurse, besides not wanting
something on my wrist all the time. Along with very sensitive skin.

The lack of response in this thread, now sixty pages deep, proves to mine that the One is done. I'm charging mine daily to use. 😞 <-- sad face. No other device measures stairs with a built-in barometer that is as compact. The daily watch wearing -- I'm not really a fan of -- and that is one reason I am nursing the One. <sigh> So disappointed that the One is done.

What's the Twitter address?
Also, they introduced a tracker for kids... how's that doing? Haven't heard much about it. They could have used those resources to update the One. IJS.

I really have not used the sleep function on any of the trackers except as a novelty for me.
I have tried the One, Fitbit Ionic and the Garmin Vivofit 3.
The Ionic of course gives the most information, the Vivofit 3 seems to be on par with the One.
As always, good luck to all of us that love our ONE!

Thanks for that sleep information. That is a key part for me- The One is the perfect recording complexity for me- allows efficiency monitoring which allows behaviour modification. Because of the way Fitbit is ignoring our rational arguments for keeping the One, I would be inclined to switch to a different provider. My One is still hanging in there- but it looks as though Vivofit 3 is a good option.
Has anyone tried the Polar A370? In Canada, it is $224.00 which is around the ebay price for a One these days! it is a watch, but I wear a Polar A300 now so I could live with a wrist option.

I'm very sorry to learn of the One's demise. I can't wear any of your wrist-based trackers because they cause me hives -- even the wrist wrap you made for the One did so, and I have never been able to use the sleep tracking feature because of this. I've been a Fitbit customer since you started shipping your first product, in large part because you made a small, feature-rich tracker. I love the app and the Web site's capabilities
In the Zip you've increased the size and reduced the feature set. It simply won't fit where I've successfully carried my One for years. I understand that you want to focus on wrist-based trackers, and I'm saddened by that because it's clear that I'm no longer in your target market.
My last One just died and I'm now forced to look for a non-Fitbit alternative.

Hello Learnin,
Sorry to hear about your One.
If you read this board you will see that some of us are still valiantly trying to convince Fitbit to follow an easy path to profit by reissuing the One.
You will read on this board that there are alternatives but there is only one One:)
