Setting start-of-week to Monday

Is there a way of setting the start-of-week to Monday instead of Sunday?  Europeans think of the week as going from Monday through Sunday.  Thanks.

Welcome to the forums @genelong

You'll find the setting here - click - towards the bottom of the page. I have mine set Monday to Sunday and I'm not European.

Thanks. My setting is now set to Monday, but my app still shows week
starting on Sunday. Under the sleep function, it shows last week as
Oct 8-14 (Sun - Sat), and starts a new section today (Sunday). Any
suggestions?

@genelong  might be the past can't change, but the future will have it for those days. Did you sync?

Give it a week or so and if it's not doing it right, then let us know.

It's now Monday, and my sleep app still shows the last week as Sunday through Saturday.  No change.  Same for the weight app.

Awesome input @Odyssey13! Thanks for taking care of our dear community. Smiley Happy

@genelong thanks for the update. That definitely sounds kind of odd. Have you tried making this change from your online Dashboard,  just like @Odyssey13 suggested above? Make sure that you click "Submit".

After that, make sure you sync your tracker. Also, out of curiosity, are you seeing this info in your weekly report? If possible please post me back with a screenshot of what you're describing. That'll give me a better pic of the situation.

I'll be looking forward to your new comments!

When I look online on my laptop, the setting does point to Monday, and under Sleep, it says week starting Oct 16th, which is correct.  However, on my Android, I find no setting for starting day of the week, and under sleep it shows the week as Oct 15 - Oct 21, Sunday thru Saturday.  It's only the Android that shows it incorrectly.  Sorry, don't know how to take a screen shot on my Android.

@genelong  you'll need to access this on the laptop - click to go there - and you'll see what Moderator @MariamV was showing you in the image above.

I checked my Android app and didn't see a way to change the day the week start.

Let us know if this works for you.

Yes, I have no problem on the laptop.  The display works properly.  The problem is solely on the Android.

The same thing has happened to me for month's now.  I even removed the app and reinstalled it to no avail

I do not know how to take a screen shot on an Android.

I click on fitbit app, then click on the sleep app.  I get the bar graph for the past 7 days.  Below that, I get the heading "This Week" followed by "Today" (Monday) and "Sun".  Below that, I get "Oct 29 - Nov 4", which is Sunday through Saturday.  Clearly the app still thinks the week goes from Sunday to Saturday, despite my settings.

@genelong thanks for posting your Android App's screenshot. This is somewhat confusing though. I'd suggest logging out from your app and then logging back in again. All of your info should get refreshed.

@LisaCrawford it's nice to hear back from you. Hey, are you still having this issue? Do let me know.

Hi, Mariam.  I've been having this issue for months.  The app and the android have been restarted many times.  If you all have not made any software changes, I doubt I will get different results.  Nevertheless, I will do it again at the start of next week and see if it's the same.

Yes.  Weeks under the sleep screen still show up as Sunday through Saturday.  On the web it displays as Monday through Sunday.

So, just checked on my Android again.  Today is Tuesday.  Under the sleep app, it shows:

This Week:

Today...

Monday...

Sunday...

Week of Nov 26 - Dec 2

...

Obviously it still thinks the week starts on Sunday.  Same table on the web shows the week starting on Monday.

It's been two months since asking this question.  No one from FitBit has even acknowledged that this is in fact a problem.  The suggestions have not been useful.  I realize this is probably low priority, but it would be nice to hear "Ah yes, we see the problem, we will be working on it."
