Where should I where my Fitbit One to measure my steps on a stationary bike? I have tried in my shorts and on my shoe, but the steps don't reflect bicycling.

Thanks,

I have the same problem and have been fastening it to my shoe.  This only captures half of the step value, but you can manually enter it under bicycling in activities.  Include the number of miles (usually recorded on your stationary bike) and the time.  Your activity chart will reflect 'very active minutes", and calculate the calories expended.  It isn't perfect, but it is the best I have been able to figure out.

Good luck!

Where can I find biking inactivities? My app only shows running.

I view my Fitbit data and make manual entries on a computer, not a smart phone or tablet. It may be that on smaller devices the screens look different.

To manually enter data for riding your stationary bike, start by going to Fitbit.com. This takes me to a screen with the following across the top: Dashboard Log Community, etc.
Choose Log and you will find the choices: Food Activities Weight Sleep.
Choose Activities and scroll down that page to near the bottom and look for Log Activities.
Under that you should see Common Activities and then four small boxes. In the boxes are the outline figures of someone walking, running, swimming and biking.
Click on the biking figure and enter the data requested.

Also, on that screen you can manually enter the data by creating a custom activity.

If this does not work for you, it might help to contact someone at Fitbit. What works on my computer might not work on yours.

One other bit of advice if you change from stationary biking to road/trail biking and wear the Fitbit on your shoe, secure the Fitbit into the holder with a rubber band or maybe a piece of string. A Band-Aid also works. The silicone holder tends to stretch in the heat outdoors and the Fitbit should be fastened in more securely.

Good luck!

I put it on my waist and that seems to count steps better. Then add information in the app.

@Ralphsaperstein  For Andriod Tap on the exercise tile. Then tap on the stop watch upper right corner. Search for Bike and it should come up
