Unable to sync Fitbit One

Since yesterday evening, I have been unable to sync my FitBit One with my Android phone. I have tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app but this hasn't fixed the issue. Is anyone else having problems? =(

I had to call Fitbit customer service again but at least this time I got an
operator that knew what he was doing. It now works!

Thanks Evie. I hadn't been able to sync mine for 3 days. Your solution worked!

Thanks! That worked!

Tried Evies suggestion it and it is not working. Also deleted and reinstalled app. Twice. Still not working. Very aggravating. Worked fine since March when I began using it. This past week has been a nightmare. I have the Samsung Galaxy note 4 which a few days ago upgraded to Marshmallow (android 6.0.1). I thought this was the problem and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing. As I like the size of the ONE I really don't want to buy another one for fear of it doing the same thing again. Doesnt sync on PC Win 10, or cell.

I bought mine at Best Buy. I always get the two yr warranty on it so they replace it. Mine quit syncing as well. I'm on my third and my warranty was out. Help desk told me how to fix problem. I'm lost without my Fitbit. Very competitive with my steps. Even when I'm just competing against myself.

Now, in order to be of better assistance please try the following troubleshooting in order:

1) Restart your tracker:
Plug your charging cable into your computer.
Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds.
Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on.
2) Try the setup process again.
3) Reboot your mobile device (turn it off and then back on).
4) Try setting up your tracker again.
5) If you have access to a computer, try setting up with your computer using the computer instructions in How do I set up my tracker?

If you continue to experience the same issue after doing this, please let us know and we'll evaluate alternative options to get you back on track.

Hi Everyone! It's great to hear that many of you are back on track and able to sync again. Yay!

@my9cats Please keep in mind that Google changed the permissions for Bluetooth syncing, requiring the use of location services. Since you recently upgraded to OS 6.0 (Marshmallow), I encourage you to double check that you have location services turned on to help sync your tracker. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions! Smiley Happy

Try removing and putting the app back on. Shut down and restart your phone. May take multiple tries.

Did you plug it into your computer using the charging cable. Keep the Google plugged in also. Try different USB ports as well. Hold the switch on your fit bit one. It took about 20 seconds for mine to reboot.

That should say doggle. Siri thought she fixed something not spelled correctly.

Why has everyone's Fitbit suddenly stopped syncing? Don't you think it's strange that lots of people have run into problems at the same time?? 🤔

This has happened to me more then once. I really think there is a glitch
that fitbit needs to work out of there system.
