Unable to sync Fitbit One

Since yesterday evening, I have been unable to sync my FitBit One with my Android phone. I have tried restarting the phone and reinstalling the app but this hasn't fixed the issue. Is anyone else having problems? =(

Remove other Bluetooth devices from phone. Also try powering phone completely down and turn back on. May even try removing app and reinstalling it. If this fails try the next steps.

> 1) Restart your tracker:
> Plug your charging cable into your computer.
> Plug your Fitbit One tracker into the charging cable, making sure that the gold contacts on your tracker align with the gold contacts in the inside of the charger.
> Hold down your tracker's button for 10-12 seconds.
> Remove your tracker from the charging cable and press its button until the screen turns on.
> 2) Try the setup process again.
> 3) Reboot your mobile device (turn it off and then back on).
> 4) Try setting up your tracker again.

I have done all of this short of setting up the tracker on the Macbook again, because I don't know how to remove it. Because I can't access anything except the dashboard and help. I can't get to the main menu because despite the dongle being plugged in, it's not being recognised by the computer.

Everyone keeps putting up the same suggestions again and again and nothing is working.

Ugh. Now I've removed it and I'm unable to reinstall it.

Go back to App Store and look at apps not on your phone and reinstall your app.

Contact the help desk. It takes a day or two to get help. But once they respond it gets easier.

I just fixed mine.  Put it in the recharging thing and plug into a USB slot. Press the button until you see the firmware version (FITBIT 6.60) - about 15 seconds.  Take it out of the charger and press the button until you see your steps, and etc.  Open the app on your phone/computer and sync it.

Thank you so much!  I have been trying all day, and this finally worked!  I have a friend who can only sync her One if she has it plugged into the charger which didn't work for me.  I will tell her about this and maybe it will work for her.

My One stopped syncing to iPhone and computer. I followed the instructions in the solution, but when I hold the button down (which I did several times for more than 30 seconds) it won't reboot either. It's worked perfectly for years and now it just won't. I will keep looking for a solution, but please let me know if you have one.

I spent one and half hours on the phone with fitbit tech named Giovanni yesterday and he helped me update my tracker and fix my computer to sync..  It did it yesterday and again today my fitbit will not sync.  There is something going on.

I also only get the firmware randomly, but it still shuts off. And once it is off I can get to the firmware screen.

I had tried restarting my One several times and nothing worked until I followed Evie's suggestion to put it in the charges and hold the button down until you get the firmware version (FITBIT 6.60).  That was what made the difference for me.  It's been working fine since.
