Hi there Fitbit Community,
Well, my son's Versa 2 is now kaput, and we're trying to resurrect his Charge 2. Except it "stops" or "sleeps", and when you press the side button, it shows the Fitbit logo and "22.58.00". He's uninstalled, reinstalled, un-paired and re-paired, but...nothing...
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance - what a great community that exists to support what is theoretically a great product. ~ Mike

That sounds like a successful restart , assuming it was with the Charge 2 in the charger and button was held in 4 seconds. When it restarts, it shows the Fitbit logo and the firmware version, and vibrates.
What is the status of its "resurrection"? Has it been added to the app and started working?
What exactly do you mean by it stops or sleeps? Is that is the set-up process,or after it seems to be up and working?

The Charge 2 will just stop tracking, the face won't respond to touch, and then the logo + 22.58.00 appears. This can happen multiple times a day, and the tracking is all off. It makes you think it's working and accurately tracking...and then it just drops off.
I am going to keep playing around with it, I'm hoping that consistent pestering will make it give in lol.
Thanks!

Did you get it to fix; my Charge 2 is doing the same thing; I shows zero charge; I plug it in, it goes to 100% in a few minutes; I unplug, it drops to zero; I try to restart I get the 22.58.00 message with the logo

Any luck? My Charge 2 randomly stopped working and I have tried to restart and resync. Can’t seem to get passed the update though.

No luck. Tried the vast wasteland that is Fitbit support. They hinted it was a faulty battery (but I've never heard of a battery going from fantastic to crap overnight). They didn't try to find a solution, just turned it over to the warranty group who offered a discount on a new fitbit. My second fitbit to die suddenly so I think "fool me twice" rules apply. Hopefully some one in the community finds a solution.

Problem is not solved by restarting. Just not holding a charge (or more likely software is saying it's notime holding a charge,)

Hello,
Did you solved your problem ?
I had the same problem with my 3 years old Fitbit charge 3. I tried everything but nothing worked. Spend hours on the web 😞
Eventually I bought a new one (luxe) and moved on.
3 months later, I found my charge 3 and I put it on charge and it's working again..... No idea what was going on.
My husband is having the same problem since 2 days (vibrating and draining)....
He will use mine for the moment, but what the ****
