Added activity doesn't add steps

When I 'add' a walk activity the daily steps doesn't increase.

Hi @Vicki1122. Welcome to the community forums. 

Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Charge 4. 

Please, try to follow these steps:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the issue is still happening.

Hi,  Thank you for responding to my inquiry.

I followed the steps outlined, but the app still does not add steps to my daily total when I manually add the activity. 

I'm wondering if it is a software issue as my husband has a Versa 3 and is experiencing the same issue.

I'm having the same issue. I cannot manually add exercise once the exercise has taken place.

Hi @GillT18 

I have just noticed that when I tap the + on the front screen, nothing happens.  BUT, if I tap on the Exercise days option, an +Add exercise tab comes up which then allows me to log an activity successfully.
