Hi @Blondeloulouxx! You shouldn't have to force closing the app in order to sync your Charge 2 with your iOS device. And with the all day sync option, your tracker should sync every time you open the app. If you can't activate that option, and your tracker doesn't seem to be connecting, I suggest you to try the following tips:
Let me know how it goes!
Hi, I tried your fix but I still receive the following error message " Bluetooth Paring Required. Your Charge 2 and your iPhone need to be paired before you can use this feature. Cancel or Setup." I hit setup and app spins for several minutes and error message "Bluetooth Pairing Failed. Call notifications and All-Day Sync are disabled for now. Cancel or try again." I try again and I still cannot get call notifications or all day sync to work. Please help! Thanks.
Had my fitbit since June 2017 but been having lots of problems recently with syncing with my Android phone even though I have the sync all day on all the time, it sometimes says they sync schedule is due but it never happens and it also takes a long time to link up with the app on my PC as well.
I have tried logging out of fitbit, turning off bluetooth, turning off the phone, turning the phone back on, turning on bluetooth and then the fitbit app, also tried resetting the fitbit, but still doesn't work very well or not at all.
Hi, I was experiencing the same problem. I tried everything; deleting app, adding it back; turning on and off Bluetooth, etc. I finally contacted Fitbit today. The tech had me to finally go into Bluetooth, click on the symbol of the i with the circle around it next to charge 2 and select "forget this device". Opened Fitbit app again and selected account, and selected notifications and I could finally open notifications and the all day sync started working again. 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks so much for this. I have tried all of the suggestions from the forums and this is the first thing that has worked!
I want to add my thanks as well. My charge 2 refused all day sync after I tried pairing it with an additional device. Making my IPhone ignore it (bluetooth) and then pairing it again solved the problem.
Outstanding FIX! This issue was driving me nuts but then I tried your fix and Voilà, it worked like a charm.
