I have no option on my Charge 3 settings to turn on ‘all day sync’ where is it!?
I only want to see whether turning it on will show my live heart rate as current my Fitbit doesn’t tell me on my dashboard. Thanks

That option has been removed by Fitbit and it's now on by default. They say:
"To improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates, we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates. More frequent syncing rarely, if ever, noticeably decreases your device’s battery life. To learn more about what factors affect battery life"

Not true doesn’t sync automatically. Reason they did this is to push people to upgrade to newer models. Marketing scam

As of yesterday, I have the opposite problem. The all day sync button is gone. I like having it on when I walk and I don’t have to do much to see how many steps I bought. Where did it go? And its place is just a sync now feature. I have an Apple phone and so use an Apple app.

Removing all day syncing sucks. I will replace my fit bit 🤦:male_sign:🤦:male_sign:🤦:male_sign:🤦:male_sign:🤦:male_sign:

Why can’t users make their own decisions? There was the option to turn the all day syncing off. 🤦:male_sign:

So after being frustrated that my Fitbit would not sync as I walked without me going through several steps, and being frustrated that the all day sync button had disappeared, I deleted the app, reinstalled it and now my Fitbit stinks as I walk. I can see it record each step which is what I wanted. There is still no All day sync button but as long as it’s updating as I walk I don’t care.

How ridiculous is it to get rid of the all day sync button, you will need to change your over generous estimate of battery life, it is now down to 3 days because of your need to control other people’s phones. I guess my only solution is to not allow syncing to my phone at all, which I have already been done. The lack of all day sync button coupled with those annoying messages about not allowing GPS every time it syncs during the day is fast taking fitbit down a road a lot of people won’t follow.

Just another note, it will no longer allow you to turn off the charge 3 Bluetooth either, or not allow notifications. So I just deleted the app from my phone. I can sync once a day from my computer so I have control over my phone and life instead of fitbit.

So totally untrue about battery life, how do you explain my battery running down quickly now if I don’t have music, notifications, emails calls texts or GPS, or any of the things you site as running the battery down. The only thing that happens now is that my phone and fitbit since at least 100 times a day, and my battery life ran down in a couple of days. I deleted the fitbit app on the phone and that no longer happens. You are forcing me to no longer have the fitbit app on any mobile device, and if that is what it takes they will all be deleted and only the computer will sync. What is wrong with you that you can’t give people their own choice, if I don’t want all day sync, then I don’t want it, all the things that may compromise are ones I don’t use

in settings on app notifications at top there’s choice to force close reminders that if chosen it reminds you to be sure notifications are set in phones settings allow. If that settings on toggled in phones Fitbit app my Fitbit won’t sync all day

Unbelievable how worthless the fitbit nitwits (coders)!
To remove this option is unforgivable.
And now... tracked GPS no longer works unless one manually syncs at every turn.

I’m looking to replace too. I hate that they took this option. “Automatic sync” doesn’t work. It NEVER syncs. If I don’t open the app no syncing. When I open the app it sometimes syncs. What a stupid decision by Fitbit. 7 years with a Fitbit with this company and I am looking into better options.
