App on iPhone spontaneously closes

Yesterday the app on my iPhone7 ios12.4.1 spontaneously started to close itself less than a second after opening. I just see a gleam of "Fitbit" on top of the screen and then I am back to the screen I came from.

- If I doubleclik to see the open apps, I can see the last fitbit screen (the new sleep-pattern).

I've tried to close all the opened apps, close the wifi connection, the mobildata connection, the Bluetooth connestion and then close the iPhone.

When I start the iphone and try to open the Fitbit-app as the first thing I do (without having opened any "connections") the problem still exists. And a doubleclick on the botten shows the same sleep-pattern.

Whats wrong?

Hi all of you.

I contacted the fitbit helpdesk, and they advised me to uninstall the app, and the reinstall it. They assured me that I would loose no data, because the data are stored in my account and not the app.

So I tried, but it didn't help, and I contacted the helpdesk again writing:

"On my Iphone, I choose "Settings", "General", "iPhone storage" - Then I choose Fitbit, and I have two possibilities:

Remove app (which leaves data on the iPhone,

or Delete app (which deletes the date of the app too)

I have choosen "Remove app", closed the iPhone, opened the iPhone again and downloaded Fitbit 3.6.1 (the same as I allready had), closed and reopened the iphone, opened the Fitbit app ........ and the problem still is there. I have tried severel times (without closing the iPhone after each step) with the same negative result.

So now I wonder what you mean by "uninstall". Do you want me to choose "delete" instead of "remove"??

They told me, that "uninstall is the same as delete."

So I deleted the app, and downloaded it again. After logging in, the app syncronized for a while, and the I had all my data again - even those for the past days, where the app has been out of function.

So that is the solution, for those og you who still have the problem!!!
