Auto recognize stopped for swims

My 1.5 year old Charge 4 has been working like a champ all this time recognizing my swims. Suddenly it has stopped. I haven’t changed anything. It still recognizes other exercises and I’ve restarted several times. I checked updates and everything appears updated. What could have happened?

I have the same issue with my charge 4 - less than a year old.

I contacted Fitbit chat.  Here is the response I received about my Charge 4 not auto recognizing swimming.  I followed all the steps below.  I went swimming the next day and it auto recorded my swim.  Hope this helps.
