i wish they do some thing for a person who wears prosthetic leg and gets on a scale and then c the weight and the scale can not say what Ur BMI is or if u type in Ur weight the BMI shows up and says Ur overweight. I think the bmi is way off and does not accurate because it can not determine if u have a prosthetic leg when i tried to just weight my self it could not give me accurate BMI on one leg . i jyust wish they make a scale where it can get ur BMI if a person has one leg.

Hi @CelticCats, is it possible to enter a starting bmi on your scales or do they only make their own calculation?
I just thought if you could enter a starting figure perhaps someone at your doctors could do a one-off customised calculation to get you started.
Sorry if that's a stupid idea, I don't know how those scales work. I can understand your frustration with it.
Hope you find a way to sort it out.
Cheers.

BMI is based on ur height and then u enter ur weight and that is how ur BMI is calculated. But the scale that I have the aria 2 scale automatically sends my weight to fitbit app and show my BMI and it says over weight but as long as I walk every day I am good and TY 4 ur comment and it was not a stupid answer K
