BMR/changing weekly activity scheme

Hello Fitbit Family!

Can anyone tell me how to change the initial data I put while I was creating my Fitbit account? To calculate my BMR Fitbit asked my for my age, sex, height, weight and weekly activity scheme. I wrote moderate scheme then. With time my weekly activity plan has changed - its not so intense as it was. Fitbit did not adjust it anyhow and now it shows me that i still burn a lot of calories daily, when I no longer do. I know i cannot change my BMR on Fitbit, but maybe there's a way to set new weekly activity scheme (from moderate to light in my case). How to do it?

@Monique1986 A warm welcome to our Community!

Let me help you with your account configuration. I guess you are talking about the food plan. If this is the case you can edit it by following these instructions and read more about activity tracking and calculation here. If this isn't the case please share some screenshots of what you are seeing and what you wish to change.

Let me know how it goes

Hi, thanks for your kind answer, but this is not what I am having trouble with.

When you configure your Fitbit for the first time you are being asked several questions - age, weight, height, and daily activity.

This is needed to calculate your BMR - just like here, with this calculator: https://idealprotein.com/bmr-calculator-2/

This calculates your BMR, that is basal metabolic rate. With time however you gain/lose weight, and this of course can easily be edited on Fitbit dashboard. But how can you edit the daily activity scheme? In my case, when I was first configuring my Fitbit, I said my scheme was moderate (3-5 days with little excersize). Now this has changed, as I can excersize only 1-3 days per week.

So my question is, where can I edit that scheme so that my BMR and therefore calories burn be more accurate? Do I have to delete my account and re-create it? Or is there any other way to do it?
