Backwards and upside down display

Hello!  I received the charge 2 as a gift for Christmas. I set it up upon receiving and it worked well until this morning. My display is backwards and upside down now. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Hi, @Shantell, turn it around on your wrist!  If you wear it on your right hand, the button needs to be pointing at your fingers.  If you wear it on your left, the button needs to be pointing at your elbow.

Thanks. It's facing in the correct direction, even if I change arms and the direction it faces it's still the same. I contacted support and they're going to send a replacement.

I am having the same problem. If I hold the button for a few seconds it will clear itself and display correctly, but then revert back to the upsidedown/backwards display. I wear it on my left arm with the button on the left side. Suggestions?

i don't have mine yet, but read the manual....did you attach the straps correctly/try switching the straps?  the manual shows which sides the straps should be.

 

 

Edit: I'm guessing that won't help, now I think about it... 😄

I ended calling customer support and they're sending me a new one. I could never get it to display correctly.

My brand new charge 2 Fitbit that I got for xmas has suddenly got a backwards display.  It's like a mirror image.  It's on my right hand,  with the button facing my fingers.

Try a restart maybe a few times.

Apparently a restart fixes this every time.  But it is weird!  Or you could just challenge your brain... just kidding!

I returned the defective fit bit. The replacement seems to be working fine

Recharging and restarting never worked for me so I ended up sending it back for a full refund so that I could start again on a new contract.  Now bought a new one and am having the same issues plus it wont sync with my phone. 😞

Hi, @metooo, that sounds like really bad luck!  But, though I know it is annoying, I think you should get another refund and start again. Third time lucky?  Hopefully!

Than god for this page!! I started freeking out and crying because when I picked up my Charge 2 after a bath it was all weird and it didn't get wet or dropped so I was so confused. Thanks for saving my day!!!

I was able to fix mine by doing the reset process from this web site.

Samething just happened to me. Called CS right now. Put fitbit on charger and while on charger hold down button till dotted diamond shape pops up. My fitbit reset. Its back to normal.
