Band Fitbit 2 broken

Last year, my first Fitbit 2 band broke and I received a replacement.

 

The new band was fine for some months, but has broken exactly the same way the first one did. The material used in the latch is too weak and comes detached too easily making it impossible for the strap to attach to the central clock section.

 

I have emailed Fitbit and submitted the photo with case number as requested. I bought the watch in February 2018 and have a 2 year warranty due to being in the EU.

 

My questions:

 

  1. Will Fitbit now send me a replacement?
  2. Does Fitbit still have bands for Charge 2 in stock? If so, do they have small in blue?
  3. If they no longer have the right size bands for me (small - which by the way is actually very large) and blue, what will happen? A larger size wouldn't fit as I already had the small size on the tightest fitting. I didn't like the other colours they had available when I bought the watch.

So frustrating!

Just to update anyone following this thread: the online staff at FitBit have been emailing and have already placed an order for a free replacement band which will be sent to my home address.

 

They seem really helpful and efficient. Fingers crossed it will arrive as planned 🙂
