It's the first time I've had a problem with my charge 2. Last night when it said the battery was low I plugged it in. When I woke it said it was fully charged 100% and I put it on. A very short time later it said it was at 10% then switched off. I tried charging again, tried restarting it (saw the fitbit logo), tried cleaning the pins but it doesn't seem to be charging, although each time I plug it in within a short time it says it's at 100% and then back to 10% again before too long

I was informed by our Customer Support team that they already provided you with assistance regarding the battery inconvenience you experienced with your Charge 2. That being said, since they already provided assistance, my best advise for you will be to get in touch with them again if you have any additional questions about the outcome of your case.

Don't hesitate to contact me back if you need anything else or if you have any additional questions for me to answer.

I have to say I’m very impressed with the customer service, thank you. A new Fitbit has been ordered with a discount and will hopefully be on my wrist very soon!!
