I think that this problem started after updating my Fitbit on my iPhone. My Fitbit's battery drains in a matter of minutes and I made several attempts to charge it. I've followed the solutions in several of the posts, but none are working. Can you please help? Thanks

Hi @asroxas1, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some steps before posting over here. Our Support team informed me that they already provided you assistance to resolve this situation. That said, I recommend you to contact them back if you require further assistance or if you have any additional questions about the outcome of your case.
I'll be here if you need anything else.

There is no need. I decided to purchase a smartwatch from a different company. I will be cancelling my Fitbit account shortly

So, is there a solution to this problem or there isn't?
I have the same problem where the battery goes to 0% within 5 minutes.
If there is no solution please let us know and all of us will contact your support team, but than the question is: "for what?"
If the software upgrade that Fitbit pushed to our devices made them unusable than provide the solution to all of us and not on the individual basis.

I had mine for 2 yrs and had no issues with it until the upgrade and it is completely unusable now. The only solution the Support centre gave was for me to buy a new Fitbit... I could not believe that after using Fitbit products for 5 years, that this was the experience from customer service.
There are more alternative options now, so I am trying another product. See article below about other people experiencing issues.

Mine is doing the same thing after the latest update & now my sleep tracker says "wear your fitbit to bed". I charged mine just 24 hours ago to 100%, wore it all night (I actually checked the time at 3:43 am) & whilst trying to fix the sleep tracking issues found that the battery was suddenly down to 18% at 8:50 am this morning.

It has just finished recharging again. I have followed all the steps recommended to fix the sleep tracking issues but this latest update has made things unusable. Fix this issue Fitbit.

this is so frustrating! This is a waste of money, I will not buy another fitbit.

Yes, I had the same problem. I just can't believe that after being a loyal Fitbit customer, that the only solution they could give me was to buy another Fitbit. There are more and cheaper options now - it's time to find a new tracker!
