I’ve been reading the forums and see this is an issue with Fitbit. My husband and I both track the same rides. He uses Garmin and the gps tracks our route accurately. My route and times are correct, just not the distance. I haven’t seen a solution that will work. It would be great if Fitbit could fix this issue

Hello @SunsetRunner thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'm happy to give you a hand with your Charge 2 and a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community.

 

Please note that we do not recommend our users to compare Fitbit devices data with other devices because each device, such as your husband's watch, use different algorithms to measure data. Also, since your Charge 2 doesn't have a built-in GPS, it uses your mobile device GPS chip to track your bike exercise. That said, can you please let me know which mobile device you're currently using to sync your Fitbit? Also, when was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times? More information and details will be appreciated for me to provide you with better assistance.
