The screen stays black and no longer shows any display. Still syncs just fine with my phone and keeps stats on my phone, but I cannot get the screen to come on.

Having same issue and have been for awhile, if your fitbit is under warranty they will help you but if it is not, they will give you a coupon and tell you to buy a new one.

This happened to me 2x the first time Fitbit replaced my charge 3 and then my months later happened again very disappointed in the charge 3. Loved the features and the Charge 2 it’s clear there a design flaw.

My charge 3 is doing the same thing. Started a couple of weeks ago with a gray and black lined screen after charging. Now, although it is syncing with my phone, the screen is totally black. I, too was told I am out of warranty

Hi, I’m having very similar issues when the update happened I lost data then some functions disappeared. My charge 3 Screen started flickering and scrolling constantly, several resets later and no support from FitBit I let the battery run flat then tried again the black lines appeared when I reset my watch making it impossible to read. Now it’s just black - screen comes on for a few seconds after resetting but then goes off and stays off. I am very disappointed with the lack of support and sadly my watch is 18months old so out of warranty but under consumer rights I should’ve expected it to last a lot longer
